ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: JMSN

JMSN

JMSN, formally known as Christian TV, has released just released his debut album last month titled Priscilla, and it is definitely a contender for one of my favorite albums of 2012. He started his journey as Christian TV releasing tracks taking the more dance/pop route with ‘I’m In Love‘, ‘Love 2 Baby‘ and ‘When She Turns 18‘.

He is back in FULL force with his new R&B vibe, and I LOVE every second of it. His single ‘Alone’ had me hooked on his new look and feel, and I really wanted more. The video is genius and the song is definitely chill out vibes all the way through. It sounds a bit like The Weeknd with more of a pop feel to it. Check out the video:

His next song definitely was a grower, but once I found out the meaning behind the video, once again he had me hooked. While the video is a bit on the strange/creepy side, the meaning will definitely change the way you look at it, and if your smart it will become one of the standout tracks on the album. Check out the video:

If those tracks don’t have you hooked, well your just a lost cause! The rest of his album can be streamed on YouTube, and it is definitely worth a run through. For those of you that are attending SXSW, watch out for his showcase! I have been following this guy for at least 3 or 4 years now and I love watching every minute of his journey, and can’t wait to see what he has next!
