UK talent, Roses Gabor has definitely moved into one of my ones to watch spots after releasing the amazing ‘Stars’. I heard this track a couple of days ago, but was being a bit stingy and keeping it to myself before deciding that a song this good needed to be heard. This is her debut solo single, and what a way to start off. She keeps a very haunting sound yet it has a bit of a underground dance/club vibe towards it. Watch out for this talent, she will be a big one soon!
The legend that is Adele is releasing one more track before she goes on her indefinite break from music to do life things. She leaves us with the hauntingly perfect ‘Skyfall’ which will be the lead single off the new James Bond movie, and also slay every single single that is going to be released in the next couple of months. ‘Skyfall’ isn’t usual Adele material, but it makes sense because it is for the James Bond movie, but I have to admit I’m already starting to miss her, and I hope her break isn’t too long.
The biggest producer in the past year is getting ready to release what will probably be his biggest selling album of all time, 18 months. Another single coming straight off that project has featured vocals from the amazing Ellie Goulding, and while this isn’t my favorite track in the entire world, It is pretty good. Calvin Harris is pulling out all the stops on this album, first enlisting Florence, and now Ellie. This song will definitely be huge when it gains exposure, so enjoy it now before it gets played out!
I haven’t been the biggest fan of Solange, but I do think she has a very unique style and isn’t machine manufactured like her sister. Now she is back with this amazing single ‘Losing You’ and I think I just jumped on the bandwagon. The song has a very indie vibe to it, yet still has a very urban, pop vibe to it that gives it crossover appeal. The video is just as fun as the song, and it all just looks so natural. Solange easily just pushed her older sister aside in one song.

The ever so amazing Bruno Mars is back and definitely evolving his sound, and I have to say I love it! ‘Locked Out’ is very old school 80’s kind of rock vibe, kind of like The Police mixed with some Bob Marley. Bruno Mars has been gone long enough, and his catchy songs will just get eaten up by the radio. This will definitely be a number 1, and it’s just a matter of time till it happens!
