NEW MUSIC: Inc. – 5 Days

The smooth soulful duo of inc. releases another masterpiece with ‘5 Days’. They first gained my attention with their equally amazing release of ‘The Place‘ a couple of months back, now they are readying their debut album out next year. ‘5 Days’ is smooth with a definite R&B feel to it. From everything I have heard from inc. I have loved, so I’ll definitely be on the lookout for that album.

Enjoy!

NEW VIDEO: One Direction – Little Things

I know this isn’t new, but I have just started listening to their most recent album, which is pretty much a repeat of their debut album, with just a little progress from a few tracks like this one. There is no denying that Ed Sheeran wrote this track, maybe that’s why I like it. The video is very stripped back from what they are used to, which is good because this track doesn’t need that much to make it better. I’m not sure what it is that draws me to One Direction, maybe because I followed them on X-factor while they were gaining their success, either way I’m always interested in seeing what they do next. There is also no denying that they are pretty good singers. Anyway, I’ll still be a fan for now.

NEW MUSIC: Pitbull – Feel This Moment [Ft. Christina Aguilera] + Have Some Fun [Ft. The Wanted & Afrojack]

This post is mainly for the Christina Aguilera feature, because I have never really been a pitbull fan especially since he ruined that Michael Jackson remake. While Christina Aguilera remains to have one of the most amazing vocals of our generation, she doesn’t suite well over a dance track. I can definitely see this track gaining some success, because pitbull does have the beats to back up his so called ‘rap’ that no one can ever understand. Christina does sound amazing as ever, and who knows, maybe once I hear this track over and over again I will start to like it.

Pitbull has also collaborated with The Wanted, which has a very powerful beat, which is much more catchy than this song. The song samples Sheryl Crow’s ‘All I Wanna Do’ in the chorus, followed by a heavy beat breakdown that will also rule the charts.

For those that like this, Pitbull’s album Global Warning is due out November 16th.

NEW MUSIC: Alt-J – Buffalo [Ft. Mountain Man]

Alt-J is slowly gaining success, as they should, and now after the release of their album, has been selling out concerts all over the globe. This track comes from the ‘Silver Linings’ movie, and it is just as amazing as Alt-J’s usual tracks. It’s very mellow with a slight dubstep feel, but just like their other tracks, it will have you pressing replay. Their track ‘Something Good’ is gaining quite a bit of success in the UK too, charting at number 7 on the indie charts. I’m not too familiar with Mountain Man, but I will have a look at his stuff seeing as he is featured on one of my favorite new artist’s tracks. Take a listen below and enjoy!

NEW MUSIC: Skream – Copy Cat [Ft. Kelis]

Skream has been one of my favorites after hearing his album Outside the Box, and now he is getting ready to release his next album, starting with the release of ‘Copy Cat’ featuring Kelis. Kelis has made a major shift in her sound since her ‘Milkshake’ days but I think it works for her, and now she lends her vocals to this Skream produced beat, and it just all comes together perfectly. The beat is sexy, and Kelis sounds just as sexy over it. Can’t wait to hear the rest of Skreams next album!

NEW VIDEO: Ed Sheeran – Give Me Love

The extremely talented Ed Sheeran releases his final video from his debut album +, titled ‘Give Me Love’. This is one of my favorite tracks off the album, so I’m glad to see it get such amazing visuals. The video follows some sort of cupid character basically spreading love everywhere. Good video, good song, pretty much perfection all around.

NEW VIDEO: Rihanna – Diamonds

It doesn’t matter how many albums she releases, I’m always interested in what she is going to do next. This is the first video off her 7th studio album Unapologetic. While its no ‘Rude Boy’ or ‘We Found Love’, she looks fantastic as usual, but the video doesn’t give me anything. That being said, I still really like this song for some reason, and I kind of have high hopes for this album. I said when she released this single, that this could be a very strong album, and only time will tell.

‘Diamonds’ is currently number 4 in the charts, that’s without any promotion. I see another number 1 in her future.

NEW VIDEO: Ke$ha – Die Young

Ke$ha is making her comeback starting with the average song ‘Die Young’. I expected more from this video since it is Ke$ha, but I’ll take it I guess. It pretty much just shows her rolling around in some lingerie, and while she looks absolutely amazing doing it, I would rather have a better video and song to go along with it. I still have hope for her album though, so don’t fail me!

NEW VIDEO: M.O – Wait Your Turn

First discovered the UK based M.O after hearing their smash ‘Wait Your Turn’, so it’s only fitting that I make their first post after they deliver some sexy visuals for the single! ‘Wait Your Turn’ is sexy yet hard hitting at the same time, also loving the added Indian/Arabian vibes on the beat.I definitely see the song doing well on the charts, if not now, then soon. M.O seems like they have potential, and bring something different to the market, and this song is so catchy. I can’t wait to hear what else they have in store for us!

NEW MUSIC: The Weeknd – Valerie

The Weeknd preps the release of his debut album Trilogy due to release next week.  The Weeknd has gained quite a bit of success so I’m expecting a lot from this album, but I’m not sure how much he will deliver since his first mixtape was absolutely amazing. This track gives me some hope though, the production, vocals and everything is just perfection. Sounds like his first mixtape material, but definitely worthy for an album!
