NEW MUSIC: Disclosure – Willing & Able [Ft. Kwabs]

Disclosure is getting closer to releasing their much anticipated second album Caracal on Sept. 25th, and they give us more greatness from the album. ‘Willing & Able’ features the talented Kwabs, who just recently gave is greatness with ‘Fight For Love‘. Disclosure seems to have toned it down a little bit, taking a different direction with features from more soul and R&B singers, but I think it is definitely still a hit. I love this track, and pretty much anything Disclosure has done, so I am still looking forward to their album although the previous single, ‘Omen’, hasn’t performed that well just yet. Keep in mind ‘Latch’ took about 3 years to gain popularity.

Anyway enjoy!

NEW MUSIC: Blonde – All Night [Ft. Mar]

UK talent, Blonde, gives us more dance floor ready tracks and this time its featuring the unlikely guest of one of my favorites, Mar. Mar is a soulful talent from Amsterdam and I have been following his career for quite some time, so I was quite surprised to see his name attached to this dance floor tune, and it works surprisingly well. Mar’s unbeatable falsetto fits smoothly over this garage inspired beat.

Keep an eye out for Mar, still an upcoming talent!

NEW MUSIC: Matthew Koma – So Fuckin Romantic

SUMMER.

Matthew Koma and his unique vibes are back and so much better than ever. He came on to my radar with his many collaborations with dance artists around the world. Now he is back with a summer anthem titled ‘So Fuckin Romantic’, and I love everything about this. His unique raw vocal fits perfectly over this almost daft punk disco dance floor ready track. This track is definitely going to be on repeat for a while and I can’t wait to hear what else he has to bring us.

NEW MUSIC: Sam Sparro – Hands Up

sam-sparro-copy-1000x1000-690x507Sam Sparro solidified his place in my books with his initial release of ‘Black & Gold’, about 7 years ago now. He has released music since then, but nothing that caught my attention, until now. ‘Hands Up’ brings the Sparro funk that I have been waiting for, while his vocals remain flawless. This track definitely needs to gain some attention, and I truly believe that this is where he fits musically. I look forward to hearing what other tracks he will grace us with this time around!

Take a listen!

NEW MUSIC: Chet Faker -1998 [Ft. BANKS]

YES.

This unlikely collaboration is probably the best thing to happen to music in a while. Both of these artists have similar vibe, and this track proves that. BANKS and Chet Faker have a growing following in the music world with the growing popularity of their style of music.

This track is perfectly fit for both of their very unique voices, and I love BANKS on this more upbeat track. Chet’s vocals deliver as always, and it is nice to hear a fresh of breath air from these two amazing artists.

NEW MUSIC: Rita Ora – Body On Me [Ft. Chris Brown]

Rita-Ora-Body-On-Me-2015-640x640-590x590I haven’t been the biggest Rita fan, my opinion is she is talented with a terrible team behind her. That being said, I was expecting way much more from this song, I predicted a banger and I just got a generic anthem sounding song. I don’t think it will be popular at all in the States, but this is the kind of track the UK will eat up, which is where most of her popularity is anyway.

It may grow on me, but I just expect way much more from her.

NEW MUSIC: Disclosure – Omen [Ft. Sam Smith]

YES.

The dream team is back, from taking over the world with ‘Latch’ and now gracing us with their second collaboration ‘Omen’. This song is an all around feel good smash just waiting to follow in the footsteps of ‘Latch’.

Now because the song isn’t as mainstream as ‘latch’, I do think it will take some time for it to grow on the charts over here as it will in the UK side of things.

All in all, another smash for the trio!! Take a listen below!!

JUST LISTEN: Project Alfie – Let It Go (James Bay Cover)

Project Alfie was one of the talents that I lost track of throughout the years, he first caught my attention back in 2011 with the release of his free mixtape, and since then he hasn’t done too much it seems. I stumbled across this fantastic cover done by the, now, even more amazing Project Alfie of one of my favorite songs of the year. His vocal abilities have come a long way since I first discovered him and I hope to hear some more original stuff from him soon!
