After a long hiatus from the soul singer, we are finally seeing new music on the horizon. With the release of her ‘Tringle‘ a couple of months ago, we are graced with her second video out of the 3. ‘Say Love’ is definitely the song that will bring out all of the emotions and the video fits right along in there. The last 20 seconds of this song brings out so much raw emotion, its perfection.
Don’t forget to catch her on tour, and look out for her album!! She is going to take over the world!
Been following Jody’s rise for quite some time now, everything he puts out is solid, and this is no exception! His soulful vocals have never sounded better, and I am such a fan of the spin he puts on his covers. I am super excited to hear the new music he has been teasing us with, and definitely can’t wait to see what happens to this guys future! Such a talent!

Alright, now that the hype is settled, kind of, i’ll give my opinion on this song.
First, i’ve been hearing interviews with her already, and I have to say, her realness is a breath of fresh air. It has been missed, and so has her amazing vocals, which I have to add have gotten so much better if that was even possible. As for the video, it’s nothing life changing like ‘Rolling In The Deep’ was, but it’s good, it gets the message across.
She calls this album a make up album, as opposed to a break up album, they both sound the same to me. Don’t get me wrong, this track is going to be huge and I love it, but she could have done a lot more than this. To me, this track fits right in with her previous album ’21’. I know I shouldn’t compare, but it’s hard not to when that album was one of the biggest of our time.
Anyway, in short, fantastic song, good video, but I expected more.
Tori Kelly has been building up her career slowly, she smashed the airwaves last year with ‘Nobody Love’, and since then has been making quite the buzz. Her performance at the VMA’s was the big one of the night, and can now be seen in the new Pepsi commercial.
Hollow is definitely a radio friendly track, it has a hook that will stick in your head. Her vocals sound fantastic as usual, and it will fit right in the top 40.

After smashing the charts with his track ‘What Do You Mean?’, he comes back on the more dancefloor side and drops the Skrillex produced ‘Sorry’.
I have to say, I loved ‘What Do You Mean?’, and thought it was the perfect comeback single, and now ‘Sorry’ is the perfect second single. The name bieber alone can put this track in the top 10, but I’m actually feeling this song. It is definitely going to be a smash very soon.
I’m ready for this era of Bieber.
Troye Sivan has been getting a lot of blog buzz as of late, and there is a good reason for it. His ‘Blue Neighborhood’ series has been such a site to see, and he finally graces us with the heartbreaking ending. Before I say anything, if you haven’t seen both parts leading up to it, I HIGHLY suggest you take time and listen to ‘WILD‘ then part 2, ‘FOOLS‘.
This is how music videos should be done, not exactly this sad, but it should tell a story. Let me not get off topic, but Troye is giving the industry some life, and I’m loving every moment. Can’t wait to hear what he has in store for his debut album!
Drake attempts to get his first #1 single by releasing the visuals for his hit song ‘Hotline Bling’, and adding something people would consider dancing. There really is no story or anyting to this video, but the color spectrum he used is visually pleasing, that’s pretty much it.
Nothing else to say, the video is just kind of…there.
Probably one of the most talked about duets in a long time, The Biebs and Selana talk about their relationship struggles on the new track titled ‘Strong’. As much as I don’t care about their relationship, I have to say this track gives me a little bit of life. We knew Justin sounded good over an almost drake sounding track, but Selena has surprised me on this one and I love it.
Purpose is starting to sound better and better everyday, I really think this album could bring back Justin musically and do a lot of damage on the charts, not that it already hasn’t.
Let me tell you, this guy gets better from every release that he gives us. Nick surprise dropped this track before his performance at the Made In America music festival. This track sees the JoBro channeling his inner Drake, and I for one am all for this side of him. The hip hop flavored Nick Jonas is definitely something I can get down with, not that his pop side is any worse.
All of these new tracks have me excited to hear what this guy has in store for his new album, definitely here for it all.
I took a little break from the blog for a little bit and managed to miss one of my favorites drop an album, Love + War. Kwabs has been one of my favorites since the beginning, and after his collab with the amazing duo Disclosure, he bring us his own material. I just got the album today, and it has been on heavy rotation today, one standout on an amazing album is this track ‘Walk’.
There is another version featuring USA ‘it’ boy, Fetty Wap, but I prefer the solo version a lot more. This guy has so much talent, and I really hope that he breaks through the US charts because he deserves it, and I would love to see a live set by him too.
If you haven’t checked out his album by now, I highly suggest you go buy it, you will not be disappointed!
