Sean Paul never really disappeared, but 2016 has definitely been his year. After giving us the remix to the chart topper “Cheap Thrills” with Sia, he has been slowly giving us banger after banger.
He has had quite the success over seas with his Clean Bandit collab, “Rockabye“, and I predict some serious success with this next Tory Lanez assisted track, “Tek Weh Yuh Heart”.
I still have no idea what he is talking about at any moment, but this track gives the perfect blend of Dancehall and R&B. In addition, Sean Paul has some big moves coming with collaborations with names such as Afrojack, Shakira and David Guetta. Don’t Call it come back!
This is definitely a summer banger and Clean Bandit’s biggest tune to date. The production is intricate, powerful, and just all out perfection. It lets Louisa’s vocals just sore over an infectious dance floor beat. For those that don’t know, Louisa Johnson is last years X-Factor UK winner, and this is her first solo track that she has put out (Aside from her winners single).
For Louisa this is a perfect debut and for Clean Bandit this is how you return back to the game. This track is going to easily be a number 1 smash in the UK there is no telling if this track will catch on here in The States because “Rather Be” took some time. If it happens to gain success here in the US, Louisa will definitely have some worldwide credit.
That is enough from me, just keep pressing play below!
After the jump check out Clean Bandit and Louisa perform the track live on BGT!
After being a couple months late on the rise to success of ‘Rather Be’, Clean Bandit returns with the beautiful Jess Glynn for the smash hit ‘Real Love’. This combination is still sitting pretty on the top 40 charts here in the USA, and while it has run its course over in the UK, they don’t waste time to churn out another hit. ‘Real Love’ will definitely gain just as much success as ‘Rather Be’, it definitely keeps the Clean Bandit sound with a sort of video game electronic feel to it, and I’m loving everything about it. Don’t even get me started on how fantastic Jess Glynn sounds on this track, I really hope her career hits off over here in the states!
