I am indifferent on the posthumous album of the King, on one hand I feel like it never hurts to hear MJ’s voice, but on the other hand I feel like The King should have a hand in releasing his own material because we all know it would have been perfect.
That being said, I had to give it a listen when I heard that the one and only Justin Timberlake was featured on it. I have to say, while it is nothing even close to what either one of these guys can do on their own, it seems like they took the simple approach and kept it very old school. I can’t say this will be on repeat or it will be remembered in 10 years time like either of their solo material, but it’s good.
I am nervous to hear the rest of the album, but from the 2 tracks I have heard, I hate to admit it, are decent.
