Introducing some fresh talent to you in the form of Iolite!

Iolite is a Denver local delivering some dark pop vibes that we can’t get enough of. “Sapphire” is an attitude filled, hard hitting anthem. There are definitely some Lorde/BANKS vibes here with the alt-pop vibes, but other than that, Iolite is definitely paving her own sound.

We absolutely can’t wait to hear more from this upcoming talent, and hopefully a tour will be in the works!

The video definitely gives me Beyonce, “Hold Up” vibes, but we aren’t mad at that. If she is going to keep giving us tracks like this we are all here for it!

NEW MUSIC: BANKS – Underdog

BANKS is back with an amazing unexpected single, “Underdog”! This time around she gives us a more electro-pop sound than we are used to hearing from her.

With tracks such as “Fuck With Myself” and “Waiting Game” under her belt, this is definitely a more “feisty” sound according to BANKS herself. She previously went on record to saying that there is a “Beast inside of me that I haven’t let out fully”. This is just the beginning of this so-called “beast” and we are loving every second of it.

Stay tuned for more of BANKS because this new era is definitely something to keep an eye out for!

BANKS  has always been an interest to me with her quirky and soft spoken style. This time around she gives us “Fuck With Myself”, which falls into the category or recently released zero fucks anthems. I’m loving this track, and she even recently released another track “Gemini Feed” which you can peep the video for after the jump!

NEW MUSIC: BANKS- Brain

BANKS is an upcoming singer from the UK who perfectly blends a sort of dark vibe combined with a R&B sort of vibe, which is no exception in her newest release ‘Brain’. BANKS sounds fantastic over the haunting beat, which is produced by one of my other favorites, Shlohmo. BANKS manages to add a very sexy vibe to any beat she throws her vocals on.

In other local news, she has been added the SXSW lineup for anyone who is willing to catch, what I imagine will be, an amazing set from her!

BANKS is a new comer to me, I’ve never had the chance to hear anything she has put out, but if this is what I have been missing out on, then I need to backtrack for a bit. This track has a little bit of everything mixed into one perfection piece of music. It’s sexy, smooth, and the vocals are just perfectly matched behind what starts as a slow beat, but turns into a huge haunting background. I would definitely keep an eye out for this girl, she seems to have a lot to offer in the near future!
