NEW VIDEO: Sofi Tukker – Fuck They

WE’RE BACK!

We return with an absolute smash from the New York duo, Sofi Tukker. The video accompanies the track so well, its vibrant and just all around fun. “Fuck They” is basically a song for the haters in every sense, and just an all around banger.

The duo is still fairly new to the game, with only a short 6-track EP titled Soft Animals under their belt. “Fuck They” is definitely my favorite track from theirs thus far, but their previously released tracks are also worth the listen!

These guys are on the rise, go follow them on social media now!

Ladies and Gentleman, we finally have some real talent from the USA, and I’m super excited to share this with you!

Heard a little buzz going around from this EP, so I decided to give it a spin and let me tell you, I wasn’t the least bit disappointed. Brayton Bowman is a sort of soulful, yet funky mixed with a little R&B talent. This short 4 track EP doesn’t do justice to the amount of Talent this guy has. I don’t really know anything about him just yet, but I intend to keep a close watch on him, he is just getting started and I can’t wait to hear what he has in store.

REPEAT.

NEW VIDEO: Years & Years – Take Shelter

Found out about Years & Years after hearing them being featured on the track ‘Sunlight‘ by The Magician. Now, after doing a little research into their solo work, I found this fantastic track titled ‘Take Shelter’. This track has a very UK dance-floor vibe to it, with it’s reggae feel to it. I’m loving everything about this track, and I have to say Olly, the lead singer, has got quite the voice on him. I’m looking forward to hearing more from these guys and they have my full support, and I hope to see them over here in Dallas very soon!

Enjoy!

NEW MUSIC: Sakima – Energy

Excited to show you guys a new talent named Sakima. I found this guy off pinboardblog, and I immediately fell in love. Sakima carries himself in a James Blake sort of way, but doesn’t lose his own flow. He has a very smooth and soulful vocal, and it just fits over the haunting beat. The whole track as a whole is just stunning and will take you to another place. I’m just now discovering him, so I really hope to post every step on his way to what could be a very big career.

Enjoy!

NEW ARTIST: George Barnett

I don’t know too much about this guy, but all I need to know is that he is an amazing artist, with a very unique set of skills. The video above shows everything that sold me on this guy, and I’m sure if you watch it all the way through you will fall in love. The song itself is a work of art, and anyone who can produce a track in front of my eyes has my attention. This guy might not have the biggest following just yet, but watch out for him because I know I will be. All I know, is that he has my full support!

I’m about to jump into the stream of his album, and probably purchase it after that, as you should too.

Check out some more awesomeness from George Barnett after the jump!

NEW ARTIST: Kwabs

Kwabs

I have known about Kwabs for a while, but he was kind of one of those people that got forgotten about since his music process is one that takes time. With the release of his music video for ‘Right or Wrong‘, earlier this year, he sparked back up on my radar. It seems he is ready to come into the limelight with the release of a fantastic EP, Right or Wrong, and most recently his release of a huge track called ‘Something Right’, which can be heard below.

Kwabs definitely has soul written all over his vocals, but something else can be said about the production behind his big vocal tracks. Most of his tracks are produced by SOHN, which has just recently released material of his own. Kwabs is definitely one to watch for in the coming year, and although with the release of MNEK’s solo tracks adds to his competition, but Kwabs seems to be going in a different direction.

Anyway, keep an eye on this guy in the near future, big things shall happen!

Also, if you want to be at lost for words, watch him perform a track off his EP called ‘Last Stand’ live after the jump!

NEW ARTIST: JP Cooper

Another talent that SBTV has highlighted for me named JP Cooper. This guy is more acoustic sounding but you can’t deny that voice on him. JP doesn’t have much going on yet as far as tracks go, he has a couple up on his soundcloud but other than that, you just have to stick to youtube videos for now. The song he is seen above ‘What went wrong’ is probably my favorite that I’ve heard from him so far. Once again, I can’t really say much yet, but keep an eye out on this guy too, big things are coming his way.

NEW ARTIST: Ed Thomas

SBTV is one of my favorite online sources for new artists, sadly they are mostly all from the UK, but I’ll take a good singer when I can get one, and Ed Thomas is that guy. He was featured on a Chase & Status track titled ‘Blue’, and as seen above, he can do it justice acoustically too. Ed has an EP out titled Outlaws which can be heard at his official website. Other than his EP, he doens’t have anything else out or planned to be released soon, but I would keep an eye on this guy, he is going down the right track!

NEW MUSIC: BOOTS- Howl

Just recently discovered BOOTS, and immediately fell in love wit his talent. BOOTS produced one of the biggest superstars tracks, Beyonce’s ‘Haunted/Ghost’. This track ‘Howl’ has a a little bit of each genre within, from soulful vocals to leading into a very dance friendly track towards the end, all while still keeping its R&B roots. This track is everything, and I hope to hear more from this guy, seriously talented!

NEW EP: Afro Deezy Axe – The Vagabond EP

Most of you probably haven’t heard of these talented guys known as the Afro Deezy Axe, yet. These guys are currently a local band located near the Dallas,Texas area and after a couple of years of gigging locally, they have managed to release an EP, and I have to say it sounds fantastic! The short 5 track EP features some of their best songs and doesn’t even begin to show the aura they give out during a live show. I highly recommend if you’re ever near to check them out!

The above track is the only one I could find in full on Youtube titled ‘Stay With Me’. Definitely check out the others on the EP even if you aren’t a fan of this track, they are all fantastic!

Anyway, you can check out their EP via Spotify and iTunes
Keep up to date with their gigs on facebook
