A little late on April’s Artist Spotlight, but better late than never!

This month I decided to share the talent known as Citizen Shade. I instantly fell in love with their cover of Rihanna’s “Work” (featured below), which I stated should be the only version of the song that is out. To be honest, I’m still not sure if Citizen Shade is a duo or what, but I don’t really care because I have no preference either way. I will just refer to them as a duo from here on out.

Citizen Shade is just one of those duo’s that you just need to sit and be amazed by their talent. The harmonies are on point, and they definitely know how to take a track and make it their own. They don’t have much under their belt as of yet except for an EP that came out last year titled, One For The Evening. It is available every where, and I recommend you at least check it out. In all honesty though, Citizen Shade has hit their stride more recently and I’m excited to see what else they come up with.
