We first introduced you to MiC LOWRY in our Artist Spotlight series, and with their smash, “Oh Lord” dropping a few months back, they have given us a reason to love them even more.
I was hooked from their many acoustic covers on YouTube, and so this acoustic version of their song “Oh Lord” is absolutely everything. There really isn’t much else to say, but just listen to he vocals do all the work.
Stanaj was our Artist Spotlight a few months back, and now he gives us his debut music video off his fantastic EP, The Preview. “Ain’t Love Strange” is my favorite track off the EP, and the video is perfection. The visuals are basically an artsy representation of the lyrics which I think fits perfectly.
Stanaj is scheduled to perform this track on Jimmy Fallon tonight, and we have so much love for this talent. He will get his, much deserved, big break very soon.
MiC LOWRY has really been on the grind as of late, as they are currently touring the UK on Justin Bieber’s “Purpose” tour. Their Popularity has skyrocketed, as it should, for them, and a few days ago they released the video for their smash single, “Oh Lord”.
I love everything about these guys, and “Oh Lord” is such a banger, from the production to the Phil Collins sample. We did a more in-depth feature on them if you want to check that out, but other than that, just press play above!
One of our Artist Spotlights, Mullally, has given us some serious fire with “Wonderful”. This track is more upbeat and laced with love. Mullally’s vocals are a standout on this Jamie Lidell produced masterpiece, and at just 20 years old, this guy can only get better from here.
I don’t know what else this man has in store for us, but if its anything like the last 2 tracks he has dropped, we will be patiently waiting here for it!
Our Artist Spotlight of last month, Stanaj, has teamed up with the electronic duo Lematire to give us some serious fire. I’m a little slow to post this one but I try and support my Artists the best I can and this track needs to be heard.
Stanaj’s vocals are just unreal at points on this track, and the electronic vibe that Lemaitre gives is something you need to listen to multiple times to understand it all. “Playing To Lose” is a serious banger and I really hope this guys career skyrockets like he deserves.
I have been following the talent that is Brayton Bowman for quite some time now but I haven’t actually given him the necessary credit he deserves, so with September coming to a start he is this months Artist Spotlight!
There is a lot of talent running through this man, he has given us everything from 90’s mash-up’s to some fantastic, attitude filled original tracks. The best way to describe Brayton’s sound would be a more soulful pop sound, but I would use the term “Pop” lightly because I feel like that limits his sound. More recently, Brayton has been linked to another one of my favorites, MNEK, and with two talents like that together you know their music is going to be amazing.
Take a listen to a few of my favorite mash-ups and some original tracks below that the extremely talented Brayton Bowman has given us after the jump!
Just days after we announced our Artist Spotlight for the month of August, he goes and announces his debut EP. Stanaj gives us The Preview, a short but epic EP of what is just a taste to come.
It features four very different tracks, one you may have heard from our feature, “Romantic”. The biggest standout for me is his obvious vocal talent, but don’t let that take away from the many other talents this guy has. The production, the lyrics, the flow, everything just fits perfectly to make some serious good R&B flavored vibes.
Go buy this, support some soon to be huge talent. It is even available for stream on Spotify.
It is finally time for our Artist Spotlight of the month! This month’s goes to the extremely soulful and smooth vocalist, Stanaj.
I stumbled on this guy about 2 years ago, because I came across his cover of Miguel’s “All I Want Is You”, which is one of my favorite tracks by him. I was instantly hooked on the vocals that Stanaj so effortlessly creates. With a limited number of videos of him I was at a standstill for quite some time.
He produced some short instagram videos and that was all I had to deal with as I tried to keep up with his career. Well now he is making some serious presence with an original and so many more covers.
I put the first video I found below, and after the jump you’ll find much more information on the talent that is, Stanaj!
I always try and keep up with our previous Artist Spotlights whenever they bring us new things. When they are as busy grinding as Leroy Sanchez is, it is hard to keep up but then you watch some of their material and just stop and have to share.
My favorite covers from him have been his Adele covers, and this one is no exception. There is so much emotion, and not to mention the vocal ability on this man just gets better and better each time.
If you didn’t know Leroy Sanchez is going on tour with the talented, Boyce Avenue, which you can find tickets for here!
It s about that time for another Artist Spotlight, this one has just sprung up on me a couple of weeks and he goes by the name of Connor Mullally, or Mullally. He hails from the UK and is self described as as an “edgy, zesty, neo-soul” singer, which I think is just the perfect fit for him. He is the perfect blend of Adam Levine and Maverick Sabre, which are both phenomenal vocalists.
Mullally has a certain twang in his voice that gives him such a soulful edge which can easily set him apart from the rest. He doesn’t have much under his belt just yet, a few YouTube covers, and some originals which only were released recently.
I got hooked instantly on Mullally when I heard him sing his original “Lie With me”. The version below has been on repeat since I first came across it. There is some serious vocal talent here, and not to mention the song itself is well written. This guy is a force.
If you liked what you heard above, I have way more on this talent after the jump!
