NEW VIDEO: Troye Sivan – YOUTH

This track has to be one of my favorites of last year, coming off one of my favorite albums of 2015, Blue Neighbourhood. The video for YOUTH is just what the track is, a feel good anthem drenched in color.

The track is currently sitting at #80 on the billboard 100 and slowly creeping its way up. He has a USA tour on the way which is selling out left and right, this guy is set for big things!

NEW VIDEO: Fifth Harmony – Work From Home [Ft. Ty Dolla $ign]

When Fifth Harmony ditched their pop girl anthem sound and found there place in the business as a R&B flavored Pop group, they instantly stayed on my radar. Their debut album Reflection, was filled with smash hits, and this time around they are bringing it even harder.

The girls look fantastic, and have seriously mastered their craft. All of them are bringing something to the table, and this song is a serious smash. It is “Worth It” part 2, but almost more mature. I said it before, this second album will probably be their best.

Looking forward to hearing more from this era!

NEW VIDEO: Katy B x Craig David x Major Lazer – Who Am I

One of my favorite songs of the moment has just gotten visual treatment, and it’s fantastic! Craig David and Katy B deliver their anthem over some emotional yet simple visuals, this is a serious banger if you haven’t heard it yet. I don’t have much else to say about this track, just watch it.

Team UK stand up!

NEW EP: M.O – Good Friends EP

M.O_GOODFRIENDSEP_12_ozyshg

Been a big supporter of M.O for quite some time now, and they have finally given us some new music in the form of the Good Friends EP.

M.O has been slowly improving their craft and finding exactly where they fit in, and this EP is everything we needed in the industry. There are times where it sounds like a modern version of Destiny’s Child, the harmonies are just fantastic.

The EP has everything from slow jams to some serious bangers, all the while keeping a very 90’s vibe. There is a huge standout on this EP, and that comes with the title track, “Good Friends”. There is some serious production going on there, and we have to shout out to Bless Beats for that. I’m not taking anything away from the EP has a whole though, it is fantastic from beginning to end.

Take a listen below!

NEW MUSIC: Jack Garratt – Surprise Yourself

Jack-Garratt-Phase-640x640

Jack Garratt gave us another smash today by jumping on Annie Mac’s show earlier today and releasing, “Surprise Yourself”. This track has an almost anthem feel to it, the chorus brings in some serious euphoric vibes that take this track to another place.

Jack shows of his fantastic falsetto vocals over just a light guitar riff, then jumps into some serious harmonies. I don’t know if people realize that he is doing this all on his own, he is seriously a one man band. The talent on this man is immense.

His debut album, Phase, is due out this FRIDAY, so I highly suggest you pick that up because he is definitely going to be huge.

If you haven’t checked out our Artists to Watch, DO IT.

NEW MUSIC: Jack Ü – Where Are U Now [Ft. Justin Bieber] (Live Version)

12715467_10153987045499337_4621140891796451791_n

After smashing their performance last night at the Grammy’s, Diplo released the live version of the song. I really thought they brought a whole different side of this song out, it almost gives the lyrics more meaning, they stripped it down.

The trio won a grammy for this song, and there is definitely a good reason behind this win. This song is still getting heavy rotation everywhere, and this version of it, on levels, is better than the original. Not many artists can take a huge dance track like that, and add live orchestra and percussion and give it such a smooth flow.

Anyway, enjoy the grammy winning track below!

NEW MUSIC: James Blake – Modern Soul

jamesblacklive2013

I have been a huge James Blake fan for a long time, so hearing he has released new music today is some of the best news I have heard all day. The new track, “Modern Soul” is exactly what it needs to be, and almost fits the title quite well. James Blake has done just that with his music, given us a modern and almost hypnotic flavor to soul music and it has been missed.

“Modern Soul” has so many different aspects and things going on that is impossible to take it all on in on the first listen. The production is haunting at times, yet reaches an epic climax towards the end with James giving us is signature falsetto vocals on top of it.

This track is seriously amazing, and I really hope James Blake gives us more, and very soon.

NEW VIDEO: AlunaGeorge – I’m In Control

One of my long-time favorites, AlunaGeorge, has given us visuals for the smash, “I’m In Control”. The video is shot in the Dominican Republic and is basically right on par with the track. It is a reggae flavored dance track, which is exactly what is featured in the video. There is nothing extravagant going on, but the track doesn’t need any of that, it is already fantastic.

On a completely unrelated side note, this track is probably better than ALL of Rihanna’s album. Oops.

NEW MUSIC: Jack Garratt – Fire

Jack-Garratt-Phase-640x640

The very talented Jack Garratt, who is kind of big deal in the UK right now, has dropped some more greatness in the form of “Fire”. I did an extended feature on him for our Artists To Watch, and this track is exactly the reason he was my number 1 pick.

This may be one of my favorite cuts from his upcoming album, Phase. It has so many different aspects of the song, a little drum and bass, a lot of soul, and the whole thing is just blended together and dance floor ready.

Jack Garratt has continued to drop banger after banger, and with his debut album due out next week, I couldn’t be more excited to hear the rest of it.

Take a listen to the track below, and after the jump I highly recommend you check out the live version of it, because it is SO good.
