Major Lazer has given us yet another smash. They enlist superstar Justin Bieber and MØ, who was one of the talents on their previous smash, “Lean On”. “Cold Water” was written by Benny Blanco and Ed Sheeran and you can definitely hear their influences throughout the track.
We are all used to hearing Major Lazer with some hard hitting summer smashes, but they decide to tone it down with this one and I think it is perfection. While Justin Bieber sounds fantastic on this track, I believe that MØ stole the show on this one. Although her part is short, the quirky and unique vocals are perfectly fitting over this track.
“Cold Water” is a fresh and new take from what we have been hearing on the radio these days. Major Lazer has been churning out the bangers and whenever they decide to release their next album, I see great things happening for them.
I needed a minute to absorb everything that is happening in this track before I was able to post it.
Leo Kalyan just gained so much respect for smashing this mash-up of Major Lazer and Erykah Badu. With his recent release of visuals from “Daydream”, he continues his reign combining so many influences from every genres.
This track is the perfect blend of sexy and soulful to make one incredible mash-up by a rising talent. Leo doesn’t quite have an album under his belt yet, but I feel it will be a big one that can stand alongside the likes of Jamie Woon and James Blake.
Take a listen below!!
One of my favorite songs of the moment has just gotten visual treatment, and it’s fantastic! Craig David and Katy B deliver their anthem over some emotional yet simple visuals, this is a serious banger if you haven’t heard it yet. I don’t have much else to say about this track, just watch it.
Team UK stand up!
I have to admit, I was definitely not a fan of this song upon its first release which is why I never gave it any time. Since that time, it has definitely grown on me. It is hard to hate on anything that Pharrell has a hand in making, still not his best, but then again it is a Major Lazer creation. Anyway, check out the video and jam!
No Doubt is coming so strong with their long awaited comeback, first with their ‘Settle Down’ single, and now with the Major Lazer produced ‘Push and Shove’. This track is absolutely amazing in every way possible. This is just the Radio Rip version, but you can tell its going to take over the airwaves in a matter of time. It’s catchy, and definitely well produced, and just sounds awesome! Can’t wait to see what else No Doubt has in store.
Major Lazer drops another smash!
This time featuring Amber from Dirtyphonics, while Lazer usually brings out club bangers, this is one is a little more on the chill side, but yet the production of this track is fantastic. Amber adds the perfect vocals on top of the summer vibes beat, and it all fits together so perfectly. Enjoy!
