I recently saw Lyrica perform at a venue at SXSW and immediately fell in love. After doing some research, I found out the talent behind the big haired beauty is super producer Timbaland. Having support from one of the most influential producers in our generation is never a bad thing and it definitely shows in this track ‘Love Me’.

Just posted about Ocean’s new song ‘Whip Appeal‘, then listened to his older song that found it’s way online a couple of days before that, called ‘White’. I’m fully behind this track 100%, this is what I want from him. This track is so good,and I seriously hope he keeps in this same direction lyrically and melodically.

After recently releasing her first solo music video for her single Lipstick&Guilt, she releases a 10 track EP titled ‘Piss On Your Black List’
After hearing Lipstick&Guilt, I was really looking forward to this EP, and she definitely didn’t dissapoint. She ditched the Pussycat Dolls image, and has a more R&B vibe to her. There are definitely some standout tracks on this (‘Lipstick&Guilt, ‘Bulletproof’ and ‘Hit The Ground Runnin’) and I think it will definitely give her a good underground fan base.

Timbaland has released the Radio Rip version of his first single off his highly anticipated Shock Value III featuring recent top 40 feature queen, Dev. Fresh off the extremely exciting news that he and Missy Elliott are closer and closer to releasing new music, he drops this banger!
I have to say, I’m extremely glad that he ditched his typical Timbo beat and changed it up. I was getting tired of hearing the the non progressive beat that he was experimenting with. This beat is absolutely sick and I have to admit Dev adds a lot of sex appeal to the song. After hearing this, I do have a little faith in this new album he is dropping and I can’t wait to hear more!

Well when its made by super producer Diplo, how can you not love it!
The video really has no depth, the cover art for the single is basically exactly what your going to get out of the video, and song. If your passion is ass shaking, then this is definitely the new tune of the month for you! It’s just a fun song on top of a Diplo beat. Definitely doesn’t get better than that.

Finally, one of my top 3 songs of her Born To Die album gets visual treatment, and it is just as stunning as the song!
I wish the general American population would realize her talent and forget about that one mishap on SNL. They will stand behind a lip-synching talentless former teen pop sensation, Britney Spears, but when it comes to a little raw LIVEvocal performance on SNL, the nation flips out.

Frank Ocean has done it again!
This randomly released track, is definitely a top song of mine from him. Although it doesn’t really have a sense of rhythm or anything, I really like the flow he has on it, and even the beat fits it just perfectly.
It’s defintely a step forward in the right direction towards the sound he needs to be creating to step away from his competitors. It’s just different than anything that is right now.

Oh Lianne, your so good.
For those who aren’t educated, Lianne is a UK native that is basically a soulful R&B version of Jason Mraz. Her vocals are always on point and her music is just as good.
The video for her lead single off her EP with the same title, Lost & Found, is due out April 30th and I highly recommend you pick it up and support some amazing talent. The video follows the black and white approach and it definitely fits the song perfectly showing off the emotion and vocal ability of Lianne. It doesn’t get much better than this and she will definitely blow up soon, so watch out for her!

why Melanie Fiona hasn’t become a worldwide superstar, I’ll never understand. She has everything anyone could ever want, but anyway, let me focus on this song.
Melanie belts that smooth soulful voice out over a very old school soulful beat, accompanied by Rap legend Nas, this song is very good. That being said, I haven’t heard anything outstanding from her new album just yet. That may be the reason she hasn’t blown up just yet, her music is just average. Her vocals are absolutely amazing though, and I hope she gets her big break soon, she deserves it so much.
The track is definitely worth a repeat though, so take a listen and decide for yourself below!
