Mar has quickly grown to being one of my favorite artists, with his soulful voice and sexy beats, he could easily win over anyone. His work with Full Crate just set it in stone with me, and now he is back with a new EP titled Seeing Her Naked which is due out later this month

NEW VIDEO: Ashanti – The Women You Love [Ft. Busta Rhymes]

Ashanti came back so strong with the release of this single, and now this video is released and she is channeling her inner…alien? I’m not sure what her angle here was at all, but I hate it. I still really think the song is a perfect comeback song, but this video has no meaning and relation to the song at all. I’m not sure what her game plan was with her image in the video either, she looks like a cross between Katy Perry and Lady GaGa and it does not work at all.

oh Ashanti, this is why you will never make the comeback you need, I guess I’ll have to pretend the video never existed and just listen to the audio.

NEW VIDEO: Plan B – Ill Manors

Plan B is definitely coming back harder this time, with his video for his track ‘Ill Manors’ he takes hits at the recent London Riots. With some intense footage of the riots, as well as other incedients, Plan B provides kind of a rebellious sort of tune to follow all of it. Don’t let that take away from the message of the song.

Plan B explains that he made the song to bring the riots back into the public eye, to prevent it from happening again. He is pretty much looking for a change out of people with this track, and maybe it will get enough attention to be able to at least stir up some conversation about it.

NEW VIDEO: KOF – Child of The Ghetto

I’ve been following KOF ever since he released his FREE mixtape, which I definitely recommend you pick up NOW. After hearing his other radio releases such as the summer vibing song ‘Looking At Me‘, I was really surprised to hear him rap over some dance beats on his mixtape. Either way I love everything about this guy, and definitely love this track too.

KOF is set to release his album ‘The Alternative Soul‘ on April 8th in the UK, I’m not sure if it will be available for us here in the States, but I sure hope it will be.

NEW VIDEO: Kidnap Kid – Vehl

BIG!

I haven’t heard anything about this guy until his video just got premiered on Pinboard, but after hearing the song/seeing the visuals, I fell in love. This track is so smooth and just fits in so many places. While the creator is from the UK, he adds a little french twist with the lyrics over a sick beat.

NEW VIDEO: Melody Thornton – Lipstick&Guilt

After just having reviewed this track yesterday, she dropped the quite dark visuals to the song. I actually really like this video, although it is way to short for me to get comfortable on it, but still, I think she could definitely be going somewhere in her career. I don’t really hear this being on the radio or anything but seeing as it is just a mixtape track, (released on the 15th) I would have to say this is pretty good.

NEW MUSIC: SBTRKT- Surely

YES, one of my favorite producers/artists of last year has graced us with a new tune! ‘Surely’ is right up there with all his other tracks, with a nice smooth beginning, then hitting hard with some intense bass moments, this is definitely a track of the month. If you haven’t already, check out his album that was released last year titled SBTRKT.

NEW MUSIC: Melody Thornton – Lipstick & Guilt

This song has just decided to grown on me, so I feel like I should give it a post.

Former Pussycat Doll (not nicole) Melody Thornton, is going solo releasing her first mixtape titled P.O.Y.B.L which stands  for Piss On Your Black List,is out March 15!

On the first track off it titled ‘Lipstick & Guilt’ she shows off her hidden vocals over Kanye and Jay beat ‘No Church In The Wild’. I’m surprised the plastic surgery queen behind PCD didn’t put her upfront more with vocals like that. I’m actually looking forward to hearing what Melody has going on in this mixtape, she could very well slay Nicole.
