No one knows what happened to the ever so talented Jai Paul, but apparently A.K Paul is his brother and has a very similar sound to Jai when it comes to music. A.K Paul has had a hand in making some of my favorite tracks in the past couple of months including Sam Smith’s ‘Nirvana’, and Jessie Ware’s ‘Devotion’. Now he lends his talents to Nao, a very sexy sounding soul singer. The track is a little funky mixed with a bit of electronic vibe. I’m loving everything about this, and hope to hear more from both as soon as possible.
Not quite convinced that A.K Paul is Jai’s brother, but rather just Jai Paul in disguise…..
Yeah, this is real life.
Surprising every single person on the internet, the great Jai Paul treats us with what could be one of the best mixtapes of the year. Giving us 16 untitled tracks, some of which include the incredible ‘Jasmine’ and BTSTU’, Jai Paul gives us everything we have been waiting for the past 6 years. There isn’t much else to say, just listen to it, and buy it because it is DEFINITELY worth the money.
Listen to the mixtape here!
Although Jai Paul has only released 2 tracks, this being his 3rd, he is probably one of my favorite artists in the past couple of years. ‘Flip Out’ is just as amazing as his previous tunes, it has a sort of dramatic movie feel toward it by throwing a lot of different sounds in the mix. I’ve been waiting for that Jai Paul album since ‘BTSTU’ was first released, and now at least he is making signs of life in the industry, and I can get on board with that.
Good music takes time.
Also if you haven’t heard ‘Jasmine‘ and ‘BTSTU‘, do it now!
**Video got deleted, but I have now uploaded a working copy!**
Jai Paul, who released probably one of my favorite tracks of 2011, ‘BTSTU‘, is finally back!
After his break from the industry, he comes back with this amazing track which I have to admit was worth the wait. This track has smooth written ALL over it, and I love every piece of it. I seriously hope this guy doesn’t take another break from music because he is way to talented to go anywhere.
