Bruno Mars‘ newest visuals gave us so much inspiration, we decided to get back on the blogging game.
‘Finesse’ comes off Buno’s latest smash album, 24K magic, which finally gets single treatment. With the news of the Cardi B feature, I was wondering how she would fit on this song, but I immediately ate my words. Cardi B gave us another reason to love her, if there wasn’t already enough! Cardi switched up her flow to match Bruno’s 90’s vibes and added the perfect verse to make this song a smash hit.
Bruno payed tribute to what he claims is his favorite show from back in the day, “In Living Color’, in the video and we are absolutely living for it.
We have to admit, Bruno has been giving us some seriously fire visuals this era!
Bruno Mars just killed the visuals for this track. 24k Magic is still on repeat, even at 9 tracks long, the album is legendary. He did something completely different from this video. No big productions like his previous track “24k Magic“, no fancy sets, just him and some seriously cool drawings to match the lyrics.
2016 is showing up to be the year of comebacks from pop’s greatest. We have Lady Gaga, JoJo, and now Bruno Mars joins the club. Bruno has taken about 4 years off with the only single being the Mark Ronson smash, “Uptown Funk” and his iconic superbowl performance alongside Beyonce and Coldplay. Other than that we haven’t heard any solo material since Unorthodox Jukebox, back in 2012.
Bruno Mars is now back and not only dropped his new single “24K Magic” but the visuals and the album cover (featured above) to go along with it. This track had to be huge following his legendary success of “Uptown Funk”, and I believe he did that fantastically.
“24K Magic” brings the funk right back in the game with an almost Pharrell sounding production, it’s “Uptown Funk”…but sexier. The video gives me Beyonce “7/11” vibes, but better, and the song makes more sense. Bruno did the damn thing!
We need a male pop-star back in the game currently run by females and Bruno brings that.
I have been waiting for new music from both of these guys for a while now, and now they have joined forces to create some straight funky vibes. I’m absolutely loving this track, Bruno’s vocals fit perfectly over the Mark Ronsons, almost, Prince inspired beat. Mark Ronsons seems to be doing something different this time around, while still keeping his signature horn sound. If this is just a taste of what is to come from Mark Ronson’s new project, I’m so ready for this!
Bruno Mars releases his 2nd video off his album Unorthodox Jukebox, titled ‘When I Was Your Man’. I’m a little bit disappointed with the video since there really isn’t much going on at all. I was expecting some kind of love story plot line, but when it’s all said and done, the song is definitely a hit, and the video won’t have any effect on it. That being said, there are plenty more single worthy songs on his album, and I’m hoping for a ‘Natalie’ release soon!
Bruno Mars album is finally getting closer and closer to it’s release, and to hype it up he has let the album up on his website to stream for free. After seeing the track list previously, and seeing the track Gorilla is produced by Diplo, I had high hopes for this. It definitely doesn’t disappoint, Diplo throws in a harder rock sounding beat, instead of his futuristic soundings like that of ‘Climax’.
Bruno brings some heartbreak on his newest leak ‘When I Was Your Man’. He soulfully sings about what sounds like an ex girlfriend, and it sounds amazing. Bruno’s vocals on this new album have been amazing, and I have loved every track that I have heard so far. Unorthodox Jukebox is shaping up to be a smash!
I’m still waiting patiently to hear the Diplo produced track ‘Gorilla’ on his album.
Bruno Mars releases yet another hit, on ‘Moonshine’. He sings over a bit of a disco fused beat, sounding a bit like the king MJ in parts. After hearing ‘Young Girls’ and ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ and now ‘Moonshine’, I am very confident about Unorthodox Jukebox.
Bruno Mars releases his 2nd single from Unorthodox Jukebox titled ‘Young Girls’, while I don’t think the name of the song is good, but Bruno sounds amazing as always. I’m quite looking forward to hearing his new album, he seems to have gone in a different direction as far as sound goes, so it should be interesting.
