Funky to the max.
The Purple one is slowly making his return to the scene, releasing ‘Screwdriver’ last week, now with this sexy funk track ‘Breakfast Can Wait’. When it comes to Prince, he hardly disappoints, and this track is proof. ‘Breakfast Can Wait’ is basically just Prince doing exactly what he does best. Staying funky, and smooth just like he always has. Like before, there isn’t much to be said about this track, just listen and put on repeat!
‘Jump’ is definitely, if not the most, my most favorite cut off her Unapologetic album, and now it is finally gaining some attention getting remixed by Club Cheval. I don’t know much about Cheval, but I might have to look into more of their remixes because I have to say this is straight fire. The original was banging, but I think, I just might like this one just a bit more. If it’s possible, the song achieved a level of sexiness that I didn’t think was possible, and the added feature of one of my long time favorites Theophilus London fits so perfectly over the slowed down Ginuwine cover.

At last, the extremely talented Sam Smith releases a studio version of his amazing solo single ‘Lay Me Down’. I’ve already posted my thoughts on this song when I posted the acoustic version earlier in the week. The studio version sounds just as amazing as the acoustic, and now I’m extremely excited to see what else this talent’s career will hold in the future!
The legend that is Prince is back with some amazing new music titled ‘Screwdriver’. This track is definitely everything that Prince is musically, and if you’ve heard any Prince song it fits just perfectly with it, I love every moment of it. While it has been a while since we have heard from Prince, rumor has it that he has big things planned for this year and I guess it begins with this track. I look forward to hearing and hopefully seeing the next stage in Prince’s career!

2 of my very favorite groups have joined forces to make this masterpiece. This track is smooth and perfect in every way, and Aluna’s vocals just seem right over a beat like this. Disclosure is definitely gaining some major respect, first ‘Latch’, now ‘White Noise’, I’m definitely excited to hear their future tracks. There isn’t much else to say about this track, except for just listen to it!
Finally, the world became right again when the Prince of Pop decided to make his long awaited musical comeback, dropping his 1st single off his next album ‘The 20/20 experience’.

Thank everyone on earth for Pinboard, who introduced me to this track. I haven’t heard much of Shy Girl’s stuff, but after this track I will be all over the research. This track is some smooth R&B, sounding a bit like Usher (at his prime) and Prince mixed to a perfect blend of pure earsex. I don’t really know how to explain how good this track is, but this post is just for the hope that people will listen to this masterpiece.

AlunaGeorge dropped by Radio 1 recently to premier what could be their debut single titled ‘Diver’. AlunaGeorge got my attention with the release of ‘Just A Touch‘ and I have been following them ever since, and this single could definitely set off their popularity. It’s smooth, sexy and backed by a heavy beat that will definitely give you life. Their album Body Music is set for release and June.

I First discovered Phlo Finister when she released her Crown Gold EP, which was awesome. Now she is back with new music titled ‘Hotel Miami’. This sexy track fits her vocals so perfectly, giving it kind of a Cassie feel, but a whole lot better. If you don’t know Phlo, I suggest you check out that EP and keep an eye out for her, this track is straight fire!

London Grammer is a fairly new talent, and I don’t really know anything about them or her so I will have to look into that. All I know is, if they put music out like this, I will stay a fan forever. This track is smooth and has small buildups in all the right places.
