The EXTREMELY talented soul singer from London, Emeli Sandé has done another SBTV A64 mixup of two of her tracks off her much anticipated album which is due out this year. For those that don’t know her, she broke out on the UK music scene with her track ‘Heaven‘, then kept the momentum going with one of my favorite tracks ‘Daddy‘, and ‘Next To Me‘. There isn’t much left to say about her, just listen and enjoy.
AH-MAZING
The biggest record off their joint album ‘Watch The Throne’ has FINALLY dropped. I was actually expecting them to do something amazing for this video, but instead they put together live concert footage in a kaleidoscope format. Either way the song is big, and this video is pretty big too.

Just came across this guy recently after watching that video above from SBTV, and I absolutely LOVED his voice. He is from London, and he has a very R&B/Hip-Hop vibe to him, with very soulful vocals. The video above shows him mixing Lauryn Hill’s ‘To Zion’ with his own track ‘Fire’ from his recently released mixtape, which might I add is FREE. San Francisco natives, The Park, have dropped a new video for their single ‘These Are The Days’ off their same name titled EP which is out now! The video is visually AWESOME, the song is musically AWESOME, and THAT GUITAR SOLO, no words. Take a listen, then go buy their EP because its SO worth it and its only $2.99!
Aside from the fact that this whole video is basically just close up shots of Miguel’s mouth and not even 3 minutes long, the song is great, and I hope he brings out more stuff like this. The song channels older R&B vibes and adds a modern twist to it, and it all just fits perfectly. This is the Miguel that I need!
AHHH YES! One of my favorites from 2008 is BACK! His debut album was genius and now after a bit of a break, his new album ‘Lost In Paradise’ is set out this year with this being the first single. The video is compiled of backstage and Behind the scenes short clips, so there is nothing special about it, but the man can definitely deliver on a video, so I’m not disappointed.
He has always been one to mix a bit of funk and pop together and it just works perfectly. He sounds a bit like Prince at times which is NEVER a bad thing. He has been announced to perform at the Music Festival SXSW in Austin and I will definitely be in attendance. If you haven’t checked out his previous smash UK hit ‘Black & Gold‘, do so NOW.

The vocals behind the smash hit ‘Written In The Stars‘ is prepping his debut, and this is his first single off his album due out this year! He enlisted 2 of his previous collaborators to bring what could very well be a smash hit in the UK.

Looks like M.I.A. is taking every bit of spotlight from Madonna, and I’m glad she is. This video is miles better than Madonna’s, and so is the song. I wasn’t too fond of it at first, but it has really grown on me, and I love it! The video is created by the same mind behind ‘Born Free’. The video just shows M.I.A. doing her thing. Enjoy!
I think the last Madonna song I liked was ‘4 Minutes’ partly because of Justin Timberlake. This video really makes no sense to me, all I got out of it was Madonna landing in a bunch of football players arms, or being carried by them. M.I.A is the best thing about this song, she looks good and her 2 line verse is awesome! I don’t see this track going anywhere on the charts, but maybe that superbowl performance will help it out.

There is absolutely NOTHING to this video, I think my hopes were too high for this, but she took the easy way out and enlisted that dude from Napoleon Dynamite and some drag queens to rap in place of the actual people. I mean, it’s Ke$ha….what did you expect? I still love this song though
