For those that don’t know, I discovered the legend that is Ed Sheeran from SB.TV 7 years ago from their A64 sessions. With the 10 year reunion of their amazing website being today, they bring it back to artists that started it all. We have Ed Sheeran giving us a little F64 of a track from his newest album Divide, “Eraser”.

After the jump, I included the video that started it all for me. I highly recommend you check it out!

NEW MUSIC: Ed Sheeran – Shape of You x Castle on the Hill

Just a week into 2017, and Ed Sheeran has dropped not one, but two tracks off his highly anticipated upcoming album, Divide.

For those of you that have followed us from the beginning will know the appreciation we have for Sheeran, so the release of new music has us ecstatic! First we will dive into the pop infused track, “Shape of You”. While being compared to Sia’s, “Cheap Thrills”, Ed definitely brings this track in his own lane. This track is going to be absolutely huge.

Next is “Castle on the Hill”, which gives us some signature Sheeran rasp, and I’m loving it. It is less of the regular flow that we are used to from him, but another banger nonetheless.

Ed Sheeran has definitely been missed from the business, and it is about time for a male “popstar” of his talent to bring the charts alive with real music again!

NEW MUSIC: Ed Sheeran – Afire Love

So begins the track a day from Ed Sheeran’s new album X starting with ‘Afire Love’. This track is more down Sheeran route, acoustical sounding and smooth vocals. This track, just like his previous efforts, is amazing. The vocals from Ed on this track are smooth and just flow over his acoustic sounding beat. This is no ‘Sing’ but we need a softer side from Ed and he has given it to us on this track. This is only day 1 of Ed Sheeran week, so I can only hope to hear more big tracks from this man as the week continues!

NEW MUSIC: Ed Sheeran – Don’t

Ed Sheeran’s coming back quite strong, just recently gaining his very first UK number 1 with his fantastic track ‘Sing’, and now he bring us ‘Don’t’. This track is basically Ed just doing what he does best, although it’s not as life changing as ‘Sing’, it’s not bad at all. It has more of a hip-hop vibe to it and I’m loving the way this new album is starting to sound.

‘Don’t’ is already starting to make impacts on the charts, being #1 in about 17 different countries already!

Ed recently took to twitter to announce that a new track from his album would drop on itunes every day next week, so we have that to look forward to!

NEW MUSIC: Ed Sheeran – Sing

ed-sheeran

After a 3 year break from the studio, Ed Sheeran has made quite the name for himself in those 3 years. From being nominated to Grammy’s, playing Sold out arenas worldwide, and even writing songs for megastars OneDirection. Ed Sheeran finally graces us with actual new music, his previous album +, was kind of a compilation of everything he has been working on while slowly building his name. His new album x is scheduled to be released in June, and this is the first single ‘Sing’.

‘Sing’ is definitely a track that keeps Ed’s classic acoustic fast talking sound accompanied with his hard hitting guitar beat. It kind of sounds like his first sound on steroids, which in my book is definitely worth the listen. As opposed to going the safe way and releasing an acoustic ballad for his first single, he takes it back to the old school roots and releases an upbeat ‘You Need Me, I Don’t Need You’ sounding track. The track was made alongside the talented Pharrell, and you can definitely hear his influences and maybe a little Justin Timberlake? Definitely towards the end with the falsetto. This track I feel is going to be one of the biggest tracks of 2014.

If this is what is to come out of his second album, I’m definitely all for this!

Take a listen below!

NEW VIDEO: Ed Sheeran – Give Me Love

The extremely talented Ed Sheeran releases his final video from his debut album +, titled ‘Give Me Love’. This is one of my favorite tracks off the album, so I’m glad to see it get such amazing visuals. The video follows some sort of cupid character basically spreading love everywhere. Good video, good song, pretty much perfection all around.
