After her iconic Superbowl performance, Missy Elliott might actually be making the comeback we have been waiting for. She teased us with a comeback a couple of years ago, and never dropped anything after that. She has been previewing pictures of her and Timbaland in the studio, and now she features on this Jack Ü track, which is definitely a hard hitter. I have been waiting to hear what Missy does in this day in music. I love this track, and I have been looking forward to this Jack Ü collaboration for a while now, this is just the beginning.
NEW MUSIC: Ed Sheeran & Rudimental – Bloodstream
I have loved both of these artists since the early stages of their career, and it has just grown since then. Ed Sheeran who has since played at the olympics, to grammy nominations is now a major player in the music business. Rudimental’s album Home is a perfect blend of the UK sound, and I still play it 2 years later. This track is greatness, Ed sounds fantastic and Rudimental adds a perfect drum and bass type track behind it. This probably won’t hit off over here in the States, but it will be pretty big on the UK side of music.
NEW VIDEO: MNEK – The Rhythm
LOVE this song. LOVE the visuals.
Also big announcemnt this morning, MNEK is going to grace us with an EP titled Small Talk, to be released on March 27th!
check out the artwork and track listing below
NEW VIDEO: Rihanna – FourFiveSeconds [Ft. Kanye West & Paul McCartney]
I already gave me opinion on this song, and I have to say the video is simple, yet powerful. It’s probably because they spent all the money on the featured guests. Anyway, I’m here for this new #R8 era, lets do this!
NEW VIDEO: Sam Smith – Lay Me Down
We all know this man is one of the most talented people in the world so I have nothing to say on anything here. Just try not to cry watching this video
NEW MUSIC: Big Sean – Blessed [Ft. Kanye West & Drake]
While his huge hit ‘I Don’t Fuck With You’, continues to rise on the charts, Big Sean releases another track from his upcoming album Dark Sky Paradise, due out Feb 24th. This track is basically everything you would expect from someone under the GOOD music label. Each one of them goes in on their verse, and I’m not the biggest fan of any of these three, but I have to say I love the vibe of this track. Everything I have heard from Big Sean’s new album, I have been a fan of. I think switching over to GOOD music was definitely a great move on his part, he is going to flourish this year!
NEW VIDEO: Kanye West – Only One
I wasn’t a fan of this song when it first made it’s release, but this video put it in perspective and I fell in love with it. Although some parts such as the beginning with him running, and the part where he is singing along sounding like he is high on all the drugs could have been taken out. I am officially ready for the new Yeezus that is to come out of this album.
NEW MUSIC: Jess Glynne – Hold My Hand
The talent behind Clean Bandit’s biggest track, ‘Rather Be’, continues her solo career with the release of ‘Hold My Hand’. She previously released a huge track last year titled ‘Right Here‘, and while this is less dance floor ready, it has summer vibes all over it and I love it. It’s catchy, it’s feel good, and Jess sounds fantastic! I have loved all her solo stuff she has put out so far, I’m looking forward to, what will hopefully be, a huge year for her.
NEW MUSIC: Rihanna – FourFiveSeconds [Ft. Paul McCartney & Kanye West]
The #R8 era begins!
I have been waiting quite a while for Rihanna to drop a track, after taking quite a long break from the scene, she gives us a huge surprise by dropping ‘FourFiveSeconds’. The very acoustic sounding track features huge legends, Kanye West and Paul McCartney, and I have to say that I absolutely love it. I don’t think Rihanna has sounded better on any of her tracks yet, I prefer this Rih over any of her dance tracks, but still love me some Rihanna anyway. I predict a huge album for her, she has been missed from the industry and she is going to come back stronger than ever.
watch out world!
NEW VIDEO: Years & Years – King
My new favorite band. My new favorite song. My new favorite video.
That is all I have to say about this.
