This track isn’t quite “new”, but has been given it’s official release as of yesterday! It has been floating around the internet for about a year now, and with Mura Masa dropping his self-titled debut on July 14th, we get the official sound.
Mura Masa has made quite the name for himself as of late with features coming from A$AP Rocky and Charlie XCX. He now features one of my favorites, NAO, on the track “Firefly”. This track is definitely built for the summer, as is his entire album. The light xylophone sounding beat gives NAO room to shine.
His debut album has some quite heavy features on it including Desiigner, A.K Paul, and Gorillaz own, Damon Albarn.
Take a listen below, and watch out come July 14th, this debut is going to be a smash!
Fresh off the release of the ‘National Anthem’ starring A$AP, he releases his 2nd single off his album featuring the amazing Lana Del Rey. The snippet of this song was released a couple of months back and it was a big freak out track. It was supposed to be featured on The Kickdrums mixtape, but was pushed back due to the hype of the track. Now it has finally leaked in full version and it definitely doesn’t disappoint. I can’t say that I’m a fan of A$AP because I have very few interest in ‘rappers’ these days, but that’s a whole different story. I have to say this track has given him a little life, and I just might have to check out some of his stuff.
Lana Del Rey gives me life, and that is all that really needs to be said about this video. The video is beautifully done and it just adds to the already big love I have for her. Her album debuted at #1 like it should have, and I can’t wait to see what other visuals she throws out and other tracks she manages to create.
A whole batch of new Usher songs from his upcoming albumLooking 4 Myself have just leaked online, and I guess the title of the album definitely fits the tracks. The first 2 tracks ‘Numb’ & ‘Euphoria’ are huge dance tunes produced by legendary DJ’s known together as Swedish House Mafia, and the second 2 follow the R&B phase of Usher, all 4 tracks are decent, but still, I’m not sure what direction he wants to go in. Take a listen to all 4 tracks after the break!
