NEW MUSIC: James Arthur – Impossible

James-Arthur-Impossible

This year’s X-factor UK winner, James Arthur has put up his debut single from the show ‘Impossible’. While this is a cover of the just as amazing Shontelle version, and maybe not the BEST first single for a kind of artist like James, he still gives it all he can and I absolutely love this version. Just like everything he did on X-factor James adds his own stamp to the version, making it more emotional in a different way, and his vocals sound absolutely amazing as usual.

Take a listen below!

NEW MUSIC: Katy B – Danger EP

katybdanger325

It’s been a while since we have heard anything from Katy B, and recently she has been teasing us about dropping new music. She finally releases a short EP with 4 tracks on it, which is available to download for free! I love me some Katy B, and each of these tracks fits her usual sound, but yet still gives a different style from her previous album. Collaborating with such people as Jessie Ware, Wiley, Diplo,  and even Iggy Azalea these tracks are smash hits, and will definitely chart in the UK.

Track list includes:

1. Katy B x Geeneus x Jessie Ware – Aaliyah
2. Katy B x Zinc x Wiley – Got Paid
3. Katy B x Diplo x Iggy Azalea – Light as A Feather
4. Katy B x Jacques – Greene Danger

NEW MUSIC: Bruno Mars – Gorilla

Bruno Mars album is finally getting closer and closer to it’s release, and to hype it up he has let the album up on his website to stream for free. After seeing the track list previously, and seeing the track Gorilla is produced by Diplo, I had high hopes for this. It definitely doesn’t disappoint, Diplo throws in a harder rock sounding beat, instead of his futuristic soundings like that of ‘Climax’.

Go listen to the Bruno album now!

NEW MUSIC: Bruno Mars – When I Was Your Man

bruno-mars-wiwym

Bruno brings some heartbreak on his newest leak ‘When I Was Your Man’. He soulfully sings about what sounds like an ex girlfriend, and it sounds amazing. Bruno’s vocals on this new album have been amazing, and I have loved every track that I have heard so far. Unorthodox Jukebox is shaping up to be a smash!

I’m still waiting patiently to hear the Diplo produced track ‘Gorilla’ on his album.

NEW MUSIC: Marsha Ambrosius – Cold War [Produced by Diplo]

I’m not sure where this track is from, maybe Marsha’s next album either way its freaking amazing! I fully support Diplo producing tracks for R&B singers. First he made the amazing ‘Climax’ for Usher, and now this masterpiece for Marsha Ambrosius. Don’t get taken away by the production though, Marsha sounds absolutely amazing as usual and this track is definitely going to be big!

NEW MUSIC: JoJo – Andre

JoJo is preparing the release of her mixtape next month by releasing another cut from it titled ‘Andre’. JoJo belts her powerful vocals over a very different sounding beat, but it all works perfectly. JoJo has remained one of my favorites since her first single ‘Leave’ and now I’m just getting more excited for her next mixtape, and still anticipating her 3rd album.

NEW MUSIC: Angel Haze x Rudimental – Hell Could Freeze

One of my favorite Femcee’s in the past couple of years has definitely been Angel Haze. After her smash ‘New York’ she has been on my radar, and recently the release of her most recent mixtape ‘Classick’ she definitely earned a top spot. Now she teams up with dubstep fused Rudimental for another smash. ‘Hell Could Freeze’ is backed with a light beat, but with Angel rapping over it, it’s a perfect fusion. Take a listen below, and watch out for Angel Haze, she is still on the rise.

NEW MUSIC: Skylar Grey – C’mon Let Me Ride [Ft. Eminem]

The talent behind a lot of recent hit singles, Skylar Grey tries to make a hit single with ‘C’mon Let Me Ride’. She went all kinds of radio friendly for this single, as opposed to her other attempts at a hit record, and I’m not sure how I feel about this right now. On first listen, I’m not a fan at all with the exception of the Eminem feature. It reminds me of a very dirty children’s sing-a-long. I do believe this has a chance on the charts though, so maybe it will grow on me.

NEW MUSIC: Jai Paul – Flip Out

Although Jai Paul has only released 2 tracks, this being his 3rd, he is probably one of my favorite artists in the past couple of years. ‘Flip Out’ is just as amazing as his previous tunes, it has a sort of dramatic movie feel toward it by throwing a lot of different sounds in the mix. I’ve been waiting for that Jai Paul album since ‘BTSTU’ was first released, and now at least he is making signs of life in the industry, and I can get on board with that.

Good music takes time.
Also if you haven’t heard ‘Jasmine‘ and ‘BTSTU‘, do it now!

**Video got deleted, but I have now uploaded a working copy!**

Enjoy!

NEW MUSIC: Ke$ha – Supernatural

After months of waiting from first hearing the snippet, ‘Supernatural’ finally leaks in full. I have to say this is absolutely amazing, and doesn’t even give the snippet credit. ‘Supernatural’ is a little bit of ‘Where Have You Been’ but miles better because its Ke$ha with a big chorus, and a huge beat drop, this will definitely take off on the charts. While I understand exactly why Ke$ha released ‘Die Young’ as her first comeback single, I would have fully supported this track as a debut single. All that being said, I’m so glad I can finally listen to this in full.

Enjoy!
