I have already expressed my love for this track in its original form, but now Maverick brings the raw talents of many UK artists. First, I am really happy to see Devlin back on tracks, he has been one of my favorites for a while now, I love his flow so much. While I’m not too familiar with George the Poet, both him and Chipmunk brought fire to this track. The features on this track gives the track a much different vibe than the original, and both will definitely be on repeat.

I’m not sure how I slept on this track, I found Moko with the release of her sexy, smooth single ‘Honey Cocaine‘. I guess she has been putting in work since that day, and I have been missing out! She releases a very different sounding track taken from her upcoming EP The Gold. The track definitely brings back the 90’s dance sound, and I love everything about it! Moko is definitely slowly making a name for herself and I hope she gets the attention she deserves soon!
Sam Smith is a genius, this is a beautiful song accompanied by a beautiful music video.

Everyone knows my love for MNEK by now, and if you don’t well just back track my posts. This video is probably one of my favorites of the year, and the track itself is straight fire. It gives me a little bit of a Rihanna ‘Rude Boy’ vibe, and I absolutely loved that video.

I have so many mixed feelings about this. The first 10 seconds of this song slays everything. Then the lyrics kick in and you realize that they are all under the age of 21. Now the video gives me a little bit a life, but at the same time they are aged 15-20. They are going in the right direction, just a little too soon. I can’t lie, I am interested in what else they have to come up with.
I’m also here for Normani, because she is the only one killing it in this era.
My American viewers may know Stromae as the french guy behind ‘Alors on Danse’, but the rest of the world probably knows him for a whole lot more. Last year he released his second album, Racine Carrée, which has produced such hits as ‘Papaoutai’, ‘Tous les mêmes’, and now this huge hit ‘Ta Fête’. He previously released this video under, what seemed like less of a budget, but now he has revamped it with a bigger budget and a whole world cup theme behind it. Loving this song, and video, and the album is genius. Hopefully, we, the USA will catch on to this man soon, he needs some exposure over here.

I’m getting so many different vibes from this video and I love all of them. Let’s start with how big the song itself is, FKA Twigs’ vocals are pure perfection over this building beat that gets stronger as the song goes on. I can’t even begin to explain the visuals. I am getting a little Game of Thrones/Aaliyah, queen of the dammed vibes from it. I don’t have any other words for this, just listen to it.
This is one of those posts that is getting posted because you just need to hear the talent. Sam Smith is such a genius, and I am currently obsessed with him and his album In The Lonely Hour.

The duo has finally returned, and in full force might I add, with their new single ‘Man x Woman’. The duo took a little hiatus to work on solo projects, but I am so glad to hear them back together, because I love this track. Mar sounds as sexy as ever over the smooth Full Crate beat. The two have recently signed on to Island Records, so I assume we will hearing even bigger things from them sooner than later.
