NEW MUSIC: Eden Prince – Obvious [Ft. Cassie]

eden-prince-cassie-artwork-2017-billboard-1548

London music producer, Eden Prince, has just released an insane collaboration with the one and only Cassie. Now Eden Prince is still kind of a mystery man to me, but I will definitely start to dive into his tracks after hearing this one.

“Obvious” is a beautiful bass-driven, R&B and House mix layered with the sultry vocals of Cassie. This track is just a perfect end of summer track for the world, and I can’t wait to hear more solo material from Eden Prince!

NEW MUSIC: Marc E. Bassy – Plot Twist (Remix) [Ft. Hailee Steinfeld]

maxresdefault (4)

Marc E. Bassy has already had a summer smash on his hands with “Plot Twist”, but now he has enlisted some charting power with Hailee Steinfeld which actually isn’t a bad move at all.

Hailee gives the track a slightly different vibe than the original does, but either version can’t take away that this track is just an all around smash! Marc E. Bassy hasn’t been a huge hit on the charts so the only track you may know him from may be his G-Eazy collab, “You & Me“. However, we are hoping this is the track to give him the fan boost that he needs!

Take a listen to the remix below!

NEW MUSIC: Fergie – You Already Know & Hungry

fergie-double-dutchess-tracklist

While everyone is talking about Taylor Swift’s trash new track, we are over here marveling at Fergie Ferg. With her follow up album FINALLY getting a release, she gives us TWO tracks ahead of its release.

Our favorite of the 2 is the Nicki Minaj assisted, “You Already Know”. It has a very old school vibe sampling DJ EZ Rock’s, “It Takes Two”. Although I did a few of her previous singles (“MILF $“), this is definitely the Fergie I have been waiting for.

Take a listen below, and after the jump find the Rick Ross assisted second single, “Hungry”!!

Double Dutchess due out September 22nd!!

NEW MUSIC: Taylor Swift – Look What You Made Me Do

taylor-swift-album

After a week of teasing on social media, Tswift finally released her comeback single, “Look What You Made Me Do”, and on first listen its actually a pretty decent single. She claimed it was going to be a different sound, well she definitely strayed far away from her country roots. This track sounds like a smash for Fergie, but not Taylor Swift. Although,  I know she will kill the charts based on the name alone, but I expected more.

In summary, Taylor got called out for being a snake and she is trying too hard to live up to that name. You can definitely hear the samples she has thrown in her production. “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred and Peaches’ “Operate“. Go back to country pop star that everyone fell in love with.

I have to admit, I was expecting more from her vocally. “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” gave me so much hope. I’ll give it a chance until I see the video and make my final decision!

Her new album title is called Reputation and is due out November 10th.

For now, take a listen below!

NEW MUSIC: Justin Bieber – Friends [Ft. BloodPop]

Justin_Bieber_and_BloodPop_Friends

Justin Bieber has been away from the solo game for about 2 years after his smash album Purpose produced #1 after #1. Now he returns, attempting to dethrone himself from the top spot with “Friends”. It is written by the Biebs himself along with Julia Michaels and Bloodpop (Who had a hand in “Sorry”, one of Biebers biggest tracks of his career)

“Friends” falls a little short for me, it’s a generic pop track that could have been a throw away from his Purpose era. It isn’t terrible, but after all the bangers we have gotten from him over the past year or so, I expected much more.

I’m sure it will grow on me, like any generic pop song, but he could have done much better with this one.

NEW MUSIC: Mullally – She Don’t Know Me

Mullally-She-Dont-Know-Me-Meeting-of-the-Day

We have some fresh new soul for you from one of our favorites, Mullally. (Check out our Artist Spotlight from back in June featuring him) With only a handful tracks under his belt, this talent is just getting started. Every track he has released has been an absolute SMASH, and “She Don’t Know Me” is no exception. Mullally may have delivered my favorite track to date, it is the perfect blend of soul with an infectious production.

Like we said, this talent is just getting started and you should definitely jump on the train now! I have been fortuneate enough to see Mullally perform this year at SXSW, and he is definitely someone you don’t want to miss out on!

We have so much support for him, and so should you!

NEW MUSIC: Becky Hill – Unpredictable

maxresdefault (3)

Becky Hill is one of those artists which makes me wonder why she isn’t a huge talent yet. She has all the makings for superstar status, but just hasn’t had her break just yet. I have loved every single track she has put out so far, and with “Unpredictable” being the last track from her independent label EKO, she is about to move on to bigger things with Polydor Records! (James Blake & Kendrick Lamar)

Congrats to Becky Hill for being signed, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this amazing talent!! Hopefully it brings a USA tour, because we have been patiently waiting for one!

Take a listen to “Unpredictable” below, and after the jump check out her final independent EP, EKO!

NEW VIDEO: Snakehips – Either Way [Ft. Anne-Marie & Joey Bada$$]

Snakehips has been one of my favorites as of late, and so far the duo has yet to make a track that doesn’t excite me! The “Cruel” duo has given us quite the vibes with “Either Way” featuring rising star and one of our ones to watch for 2017, Anne-Marie. Accompanied by bars from Joey Bada$$, these talents provide a smash that is sure to keep the summer rolling!

NEW VIDEO: Sofi Tukker – Fuck They

WE’RE BACK!

We return with an absolute smash from the New York duo, Sofi Tukker. The video accompanies the track so well, its vibrant and just all around fun. “Fuck They” is basically a song for the haters in every sense, and just an all around banger.

The duo is still fairly new to the game, with only a short 6-track EP titled Soft Animals under their belt. “Fuck They” is definitely my favorite track from theirs thus far, but their previously released tracks are also worth the listen!

These guys are on the rise, go follow them on social media now!

NEW MUSIC: Francis Novotny – Between The Lines

FrancisNovotny-original

Francis Novotny appeared out of no where, but I instantly fell in love with this track, “Between The Lines”.  There are some Jai Paul Hudson Mowhake similarities here for sure, but Francis definitely has given us his own spin.

“Between the Lines” is a smooth blend of some soulful vocals over some seriously booming production. There is some serious talent here, and while he only has a few tracks out right now, this guy is going to give us bangers!

If you liked what you heard, I included another one of his tracks titled, “Hit N Run” after the jump!

Check it out below!
