NEW VIDEO: Robin Thicke – Blurred Lines [Ft. Pharrell & T.I]

Robin Thicke attempts to sex it up in his new video for his upcoming single ‘Blurred Lines’. This song is actually quite good, compared to Thicke’s previous attempts at albums, the beat is a classic Pharrell sounding beat and Thicke sounds quite amazing on it. I could have done without the T.I feature and the annoying hashtag that are constantly in your face, but it doesn’t hurt the track musically. It definitely sounds like ‘Wanna Love You’ 2.0, which is never a bad thing since that song was a smash. I’m not sure how Thicke will do right now in the market since he picked the worst year to make a comeback, seeing as King Justin is back in the business, but I do love this song.

The best of luck Robin!

NEW VIDEO: Azealia Banks – Harlem Shake (Remix)

The original Harlem Shake has blown up in the last 2 weeks, and of course one of the most talked about rappers has thrown out a remix for us. Azealia Banks, no doubt, fits perfectly over this beat because she first blew up with “212”, so this is naturally where she belongs. The lyrics are controversial just like her, and I absolutely love this song. As for her original material, her first single “Young Rapunzel” is supposed to be dropping sometime soon. Enjoy this for now, because I believe when she drops her first official single, she will begin her world domination.

NEW VIDEO: Rihanna – Stay [Ft. Mikky Eikko]

This is probably one of my favorite cuts from her Unapologetic album, and now it seems it’s getting single treatment. The video is nothing special, but it does have Rihanna in a bathtub for the whole time, which is never a bad thing. Other than that, not much is going on, still a great song though, Mikky Eikko’s vocals are amazing, and they both sounded great at the Grammys.

NEW VIDEO: Bruno Mars – When I Was Your Man

Bruno Mars releases his 2nd video off his album Unorthodox Jukebox, titled ‘When I Was Your Man’. I’m a little bit disappointed with the video since there really isn’t much going on at all. I was expecting some kind of love story plot line, but when it’s all said and done, the song is definitely a hit, and the video won’t have any effect on it. That being said, there are plenty more single worthy songs on his album, and I’m hoping for a ‘Natalie’ release soon!

NEW ACOUSTIC: Sam Smith – Lay Me Down

The amazing talent behind Disclosure’s ‘Latch‘, Sam Smith graces us with his first solo song, and while it’s just an acoustic, its freaking amazing. Sam Smith has vocals for days, and this video shows all of that and more. I am extremely excited for this man’s huge career ahead because ‘Latch’ is still on repeat to this day. SO GOOD!

NEW VIDEO: Ke$ha – C’Mon

Ke$ha returns with visuals for her next single off her ‘Warrior’ album titled ‘C’Mon’. The single is a pretty standard Ke$ha song, it has a big hook, and a fun beat. Definitely not my favorite song on the album, but the video is weirdly exciting. It pretty much just shows ke$ha getting groped by a lot of different people dressed as random animals. Anyway, Ke$ha still slays the pop music, so whatever!
