NEW MUSIC: Justin Beiber – Boyfriend

First, I am in no way shape or form part of the ‘Beliebers’ and so this review is strictly from a fan of music.

Probably one of the biggest moves in The Biebs career is going to be how to transition from teen pop, to his adult genre. He has dropped many features with the likes of Drake, Usher and Busta. He has rapped countless times in many radio stations, and so we all thought he was going to go more R&B with his next album. This new single ‘Boyfriend’ was compared to the non-existent legend that is Justin Timberlake. With that comparison I was a bit hesitant to listen to this track.

NEW MUSIC: Azealia Banks – Fuck Up the Fun

Probably my favorite female rapper in a long time is back with a new track, which supposedly disses Iggy Azalea, but I don’t hear it. Anyway this track is FIRE! She definitely sounds like an offspring of Missy Elliott on her flow, and don’t even get me started on the Diplo beat! This track is SO amazing!

For those that don’t know Miss Azealia Banks, she broke out hard on the scene with the ever controversial ‘212‘, which is still on repeat to this day. She has gained a good fan base in the UK, and hopefully she just gets bigger and bigger as time goes. She brings a fresh new take on rap, unlike her ‘competitors’, she has some talent.

NEW MUSIC: Swedish House Mafia – Greyhound

One of my favorite house/techno trio’s have finally released a new track!

From slaying the charts and my life with ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ and ‘One’ they are finally back with an amazing song called ‘Greyhound’. The video for this song has also dropped and it really is just visually pleasing. Since there are no lyrics you can’t really expect a plot or anything, but its nice to watch what they tried to do with it. Aside being an Absolute Vodka commercial it pretty much just is 3 robotic greyhounds racing.

Regardless, the original mix is miles better and that’s what you NEED to listen to below!

TNGHT is made up of 2 TOP producers of the last year HudMo and Lunice, and they have come together to fuse this amazing tune. Every detail of this track is just pure perfection, from all the little sound effects to the HEAVVVY background beat. It doesn’t get much better than this, and if your smart you will indulge your ears in this masterpiece right now!

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT/NEW VIDEO: Lyrica Anderson – Love Me

I recently saw Lyrica perform at a venue at SXSW and immediately fell in love. After doing some research, I found out the talent behind the big haired beauty is super producer Timbaland. Having support from one of the most influential producers in our generation is never a bad thing and it definitely shows in this track ‘Love Me’.

NEW MUSIC: Frank Ocean – Whip Appeal

Frank Ocean has done it again!
This randomly released track, is definitely a top song of mine from him. Although it doesn’t really have a sense of rhythm or anything, I really like the flow he has on it, and even the beat fits it just perfectly.

It’s defintely a step forward in the right direction towards the sound he needs to be creating to step away from his competitors. It’s just different than anything that is right now.

NEW MUSIC: Melanie Fiona – Running [Ft. Nas]

why Melanie Fiona hasn’t become a worldwide superstar, I’ll never understand. She has everything anyone could ever want, but anyway, let me focus on this song.

Melanie belts that smooth soulful voice out over a very old school soulful beat, accompanied by Rap legend Nas, this song is very good. That being said, I haven’t heard anything outstanding from her new album just yet. That may be the reason she hasn’t blown up just yet, her music is just average. Her vocals are absolutely amazing though, and I hope she gets her big break soon, she deserves it so much.

The track is definitely worth a repeat though, so take a listen and decide for yourself below!

good gosh, you might need a change of clothes after listening to this masterpiece!
Mar has quickly grown to being one of my favorite artists, with his soulful voice and sexy beats, he could easily win over anyone. His work with Full Crate just set it in stone with me, and now he is back with a new EP titled Seeing Her Naked which is due out later this month
