NEW VIDEO: Shakira – Can’t Remember To Forget You [Ft. Rihanna]

Lets be honest, the song isn’t anything life changing, it’s catchy, and very radio friendly and combines two of pops biggest superstars into one sexy song. When I say sexy I mean it, the video, once again, has no depth or anything, but who can complain when its just Rihanna and Shakira on the same screen, for 3 and a half minutes. Anyway, not much else to say, just watch it!

NEW VIDEO: Justin Bieber – Confident [Ft. Chance The Rapper ]

Hot off the heels of his DUI arrest, and now the petition to deport him back to Canada, he still manages to release his new video ‘Confident’, featuring Chance The Rapper. I have mixed feelings about the way The Biebs is going in his career, he released a couple of decent tracks a while back with his new R&B vibe, but his attitude and all other things have made him come off as an arrogant kid.

UPDATE: I love this song, and eat all my words

NEW VIDEO: Disclosure – F For You [Ft. Mary J Blige]

There are seriously no words to describe how amazing this collaboration is, Disclosure and Queen Mary shut down all aspects of music on this track! Been following Disclosure for about 3 years now, and it is absolutely amazing to see them reach this level of fame, which is easily much deserved. These 2 superstars performed together in New York, in what I can only imagine was a show that wasn’t to be missed. Anyway, enough praise for the duo, if you don’t know by now…..

Side Note: I’m absolutely jealous to anyone who is going to the sold out Disclosure set in Dallas!

NEW VIDEO: Sam Smith- Money On My Mind

Sam Smith is one of two male soul singers from the UK that I have been following for quite some time, and each of them has yet to disappoint. Sam Smith, who recently won BBC’s Sound of 2014, and I have to say, It’s about time. Sam Smith first caught my attention when Disclosure first released their smash ‘Latch’ which featured the very talented singer. Now a couple of years later, here we are, Sam Smith debuts his first solo music video and single ever, ‘Money On My Mind’. This track is everything I expected it to be, showcasing all of Sam Smiths vocal abilities, but yet keeping his kind of garage/house vibe. Sam Smith is slowly becoming a major star, and I can’t wait for him to hit it big in the USA.

NEW VIDEO: Katy B – 5am

This is track I completely forgot to post, and now that it has hit the Top 40 in the UK, I was reminded of how huge this track really is. Katy B has always been a favorite of mine, and this track changes nothing. I respect her for doing something different from the usual mainstream and yet still making it, well at least in the UK. I wish the USA would latch on to this talent, but who knows we are very slow when it comes to oversea talent.

check it!

NEW VIDEO – One Direction – Story of My Life

As you can tell by my previous post, I really love this song, and I was expecting a lot from the video and you know what, it actually delivers. I don’t know what these boys have in mind for their next album but if this is the sound they are going for they will have a whole new market eventually. Well, at least once everyone gets over the fact that it is One Direction and thinks about the music instead.

Repeat.

NEW VIDEO: Daley – Broken

I apologize for taking so long posting this, I definitely have not forgot about it. Daley, who remains one of my favorites since I found him, has graced us with a video for his smash tune titled ‘Broken’. ‘Broken’ to sum it all up is pretty much the male break up anthem and it is perfect in every way. Daley’s vocals have never sounded better, and with each track he puts out from his Days & Nights album gets me more and more excited for the release of it.

More recently he has put out a track with rapper Nelly called ‘Heaven‘, which he performed in NYC over the weekend on Good Morning America, hopefully giving him the acknowledgement that he deserves.

Here’s to ‘Heaven’ gaining some success over here, and here’s to Daley giving us a USA tour before that success hits!

NEW VIDEO/ARTIST: Elli Ingram – Poetic Justice (Kendrick Lamar Cover)

I was going through, voting for the MOBO’s in the UK and I came across this talent in the newcomers section, and decided to check her out seeing as she was the only one I didn’t know. Turns out, I fell in love immediately after hearing her cover of Poetic Justice. She has a very Amy Winehouse/Maverick Sabre which immediately drew me towards her, but keeping her own identity with a little breakdown during the verses. Her voice is perfection and this video doesn’t really do justice of some of her live videos.

Anyway, I would definitely watch out for her, especially since Adele is on hiatus at the moment, there is space for her in the market right now

NEW VIDEO: Luke James – Oh God [Ft. Hit-Boy]

Luke James is a talent from across the seas, who definitely deserves all kinds of praise for his vocals alone. James first caught my attention after his acoustic greatness of ‘I Want You‘, before you continue reading this, check that video out right now and you will appreciate this post a whole lot more. Anyway, back to the song ‘Oh God’, which falls right into the category of Luke James, Amazing. Sounding a bit like Frank Ocean at moments, which is never a bad thing. James brings the soulful and smooth R&B vocals that we have needed for some time. ‘Oh God’ is one of my favorite tracks from Luke James, and I hope to hear more from him soon!

NEW VIDEO: Justin Timberlake – Take Back The Night

The king, Justin Timberlake, releases visuals for his first single from his upcoming album, The 20/20 Experience Part 2. ‘Take Back The Night’ has the sound of old school Jackson 5, and yet keeps it current to fit in with the top 40. Justin Timberlake can do no wrong in my books, and I am just as excited for part 2 of his album as I was about the 1st half.
