NEW VIDEO: Usher – Climax

Definitely one of my favorite songs by Usher in the past year or 2, ‘Climax’ gets video treatment. Now while I LOVE Usher doing this genre of music, I think the video is pretty much a miss. It shows him being a secret agent or something just running everywhere, and close ups of him trying to evoke emotion and stuff. That being said, the music video doesn’t take away from how amazing this Diplo produced song is, it’s definitely going to be a hit no matter what!

NEW VIDEO: Robin Thicke – Pretty Lil’ Heart [Ft. Lil Wayne]

I always enjoy seeing visuals from Thicke, this one doesn’t disappoint either. Robin Thicke seems to breaking his shell a little bit more showing a different side to him at parts, but yet keeps his famous suave style.  He channels old school western type vibes in this one, and while its no ‘Shooter’ collaboration, its definitely a standout on his album.

NEW VIDEO: Jennifer Hudson – Think Like A Man [Ft. Ne-Yo & Rick Ross]

Jennifer Hudson releases a video for one of my favorite songs by her from the new Tyler Perry movie. ‘Think Like A Man’ is sexy, powerful, and everything that is needed from her. Not to mention she looks absolutely fantastic in the video. Ne-yo adds a perfect soulful voice towards the song that downplays her powerhouse vocals, and well Rick Ross could have really been done without. Anyway, the video is just as awesome as the song, it’s good to see J. Hud with some dance moves from once!

NEW VIDEO: Ryan Keen- Focus

Been following this guy ever since he was decided to open for Ed Sheeran in his UK tour, and now he has released a video for his song ‘Focus’. This song is so good, and this video is definitely one of my favorites. You just want to keep watching, and yet its such a simple concept, I love every bit of it. Watch out for this guy in the coming year, definitely some big UK talent right here.

NEW VIDEO: Chris Brown- Turn Up The Music

Chris Brown has been all over everywhere recently, from his Grammy performances, to his rumored appearance on Rihanna’s ‘Birthday Cake’ (I’ll save my thoughts on that one) remix released, with all this talk of course he is going to release a music video for his next single ‘Turn Up The Music’. After previously listening to the song, I actually didn’t like it at all. I think he needs to go back to his R&B roots, or go in the direction that Usher is going in.

But after watching the video, the song kind of grew on me. Chris Brown can’t really go wrong with a dance based video, and he delivers once again. The only thing that bothered me was the MJ tribute in it, while he nailed it, I don’t think dancing like MJ needs to be put in all his videos, especially a track with a dance beat behind it. All that being said, he did deliver with the video and it definitely makes the song a little more worth listening to!

NEW VIDEO: Daley – Alone Together [Ft. Marsha Ambrosius]

AHHHHHH!
If you don’t know Daley, you NEED to! I’m so glad that 2 of my favorite tracks got video treatment, first ‘Smoking Gun’ now ‘Alone Together’ featuring the beautiful and talented Marsha Ambrosius. This video just oozes smooth sexy vibes, and I love every minute of it. The mixtape is so good, and the videos make it so much better!

This is only just the beginning.

NEW VIDEO: Jessie Ware-Running

Yesterday I posted about Jessie Ware’s new track ‘Running’ and now she has graced us with the official video for it! This track is definitely a big one, with its 90’s feel to it and that guitar background. The video is simple, but it doesn’t need much of a visual when the song is that detailed. The production in this song is amazing and it fits perfectly with the soulful vocals of Jessie.

heavy rotation.

NEW VIDEO: Childish Gambino- Heartbeat

Childish Gambino is proving that not only does he have rap skills, but he can easily fit just as well on an electronic based track. I actually really like this song and the video just makes it that much better. It’s definitely sexier than his other tracks and videos have been, and I love every bit of it. Dude definitely has some skill aside from comedy.
