NEW MUSIC/VIDEO – DJ Khaled – I’m The One [Ft. Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne]

DJ Khaled has definitely given us a song for the summer with this one! “I’m the One” is star studded giving us verses from Quavo from Migos, Wayne, the legendary Chance the Rapper, and Justin Bieber smashing the hook!

The video is pretty basic, but it definitely sets the scene for the track for sure. Summer vibes all around on this one, and it is an absolute banger! DJ Khaled has given us some pretty amazing tracks this year, and only more to come! Rumor has it he has a Rihanna collab coming titled, “Grateful”, so be on the lookout for that soon!

Meanwhile, press repeat on this track!

NEW MUSIC: David Guetta – Light My Body Up [Ft. Nicki Minaj & Lil Wayne]

David Guetta has come up with another smash!

“Light My Body Up” is definitely going to be a song for the summer, and features two huge names. I was hesitant on the Lil Wayne feature because I was expecting a pop anthem that we are used to from Guetta, but this is just perfection. Guetta tones it down and gives us something more bass heavy and basically it all just fits together perfectly.

NEW MUSIC: Ariana Grande – Let Me Love You [Ft. Lil Wayne]

Ariana Grande is back at it again.

I have been a huge fan of everything she has released so far from this album, and now we have “Let Me Love You” featuring Lil Wayne. I have to say, this is amazing. Ariana has stepped up her game so much in terms of maturing and evolving her sound, from bubblegum pop, to almost a straight R&B vibe on this track. I don’t care too much for Wayne, but it definitely gives the track some more flavor.

I am actually most impressed with the production aspect of all these tracks. Ariana has taken it to a place where her vocals really shine and flow so smoothly.

Listen to the track below, and if you haven’t seen the VERY intriguing track list for her upcoming album, check it out after the jump!

2012 VMA Performances

This years VMA’s consisted of a lot of OneDirection and Rihanna, but as far as performances go, Frank Ocean slayed all. Although He didn’t win anything, he definitely took the crown home for best performance of the night, while Rihanna was busy giving shade to everyone on stage. Pink has had way better performances in her time, but she can still do no wrong. To take the words from someone on my Twitter feed, Rihanna sounded like a goat swinging on a rope, but looked fantastic. OneDirection featured screaming girls on their track. Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz tried to be energetic and make rap seem cool and it failed. Alicia Keys performed her failure of a song while also having pretty horrible vocals, which is usually not like her, then brought out the failure Minaj to finish it off.

Take a look after the break!

NEW MUSIC: Kelly Rowland – Ice [Ft. Lil Wayne]

Kelly Rowland slows it down with her new single ‘Ice’. She enlists Lil Wayne again to try and rekindle their massive success with the amazing ‘Motivation’, and I must say it kind of works. I loved everything about ‘Motivation’, and although it sounds a bit like ‘Motivation 2.0’, in some way it still brings its own sound. I love Kelly Rowland, always have, and I really hope this brings some success which I’m sure it will. I always have a soft place in my heart for the Kelly Rowland dance tunes though.

NEW MUSIC: Keyshia Cole – Enough of No Love [Ft. Lil Wayne]

Keyshia Cole is back with her new single ‘Enough of No Love’ assisted by the rapper no one really cares about anymore Lil Wayne. She belts out her powerful vocals over a nice smooth R&B beat, and I think this is an amazing comeback track. We have been missing some real R&B, and now the females are bringing it back with Alicia Keys, now Keyshia Cole, and next up Kelly Rowland. This track is great, while I don’t care at all for Lil Wayne at all, but whatever, I love me some Keyshia Cole!

NEW VIDEO: Robin Thicke – Pretty Lil’ Heart [Ft. Lil Wayne]

I always enjoy seeing visuals from Thicke, this one doesn’t disappoint either. Robin Thicke seems to breaking his shell a little bit more showing a different side to him at parts, but yet keeps his famous suave style.  He channels old school western type vibes in this one, and while its no ‘Shooter’ collaboration, its definitely a standout on his album.

NEW MUSIC: Busta Rhymes – Why Stop Now (Remix) [Ft. Missy Elliott, Lil Wayne, & Chris Brown]

Busta enlisted the legendary Missy Elliott and some other non important people for this big club track. I like the original, but the remix is SO much better. I’m bassically just interested in Missy appearing on tracks again. Her most recent collab with J.Cole is set to debut a music video soon too.Her album is due out sometime this year and if she still has the same creativity, she will blow out the charts just like she deserves to.
