I’m actually quite excited for the new Young Money project, this being the second single from their compilation, and I have to say, I love this. Nicki Minaj is really bringing it lately and while I stopped caring for Wayne, I still really like this song.

NEW VIDEO: Maxine Ashley – Perpetual Nights
I’ve never heard of Maxine Ashley until I heard some buzz on her new track produced by the one and only Pharrell. I decided to check it out, and it is everything! You can definitely hear Pharrell’s influence on the track, and Maxine’s smooth R&B vocals fit perfectly with this track. It has a very summertime vibe to it, which is perfect for this time of year. I haven’t looked into much else from her, but I definitely will soon! Repeat.
NEW MUSIC: Beyonce – Drunk In Love (Remix) [Ft. Jay-Z & Kanye West]
The already hit song but Beyonce and Jay-z finally gets remix treatment, and who better, than Yeezus himself! I gotta admit, I do have a vendetta against Beyonce, but her most recent album was fantastic, and I haven’t been the biggest Kanye fan as of late, but his verse on this is actually great! Nothing else has changed in the song, just the fact that a Kanye verse has been added to the beginning, so not much of a remix, but anyway take a listen below!
NEW EP: JoJo – #LoveJo
In honor of Valentines Day, one of my all time favorites, JoJo has released a short 4 track EP for us today! You guys already know I’m a huge JoJo fan, and now that shes released from blackground, I’m currently sitting on the edge of my chair for her big comeback with her 3rd album. I’ll take what I can for now, and this is just fine. Take a listen below!
NEW VIDEO: Elli Ingram – When It Was Dark
One of my new favorites Elli Ingram releases a fantastic video for an equally fantastic track, ‘When It Was Dark’. Elli first caught my attention with her amazing cover of Kendrick Lamars ‘Poetic Justice‘, now she releases some of her own material and its great! I can’t wait to hear more from this smooth soulful singer, hope she makes it over to the states soon!
NEW VIDEO: Nicki Minaj – Lookin Ass Nigga
Nicki is back, dropping her new single just a few minutes ago!
This is the kind of Nicki I can get down with, none of that radio pop friendly mess, this is the nicki that kills features on songs, not the superbass madness. Anyway, Loving her new look and everything about this song! Check it out!
NEW MUSIC: Iggy Azalea – Fancy [Ft. Charli XCX]
Most of you know Iggy by now, she has had quite an impressive run since her debut, and with the release of this new track featuring UK singer Charli XCX, she isn’t stopping anytime soon! For those that don’t know Charli XCX she has a very Icona Pop vibe, but I think I like her more. One of her more popular tracks is ‘Superlove‘ which has a very pop/dance feeling to it, very smooth. Anyway this Iggy track basically combines the sound of Charli and Iggy into one masterpiece. The chorus is all about Charli and yet has a hip hop sound to it, and the verses are all Iggy’s style.
Easily Iggy Azalea’s best track so far, looking forward to hearing more like this!
NEW VIDEO: Shakira – Can’t Remember To Forget You [Ft. Rihanna]
Lets be honest, the song isn’t anything life changing, it’s catchy, and very radio friendly and combines two of pops biggest superstars into one sexy song. When I say sexy I mean it, the video, once again, has no depth or anything, but who can complain when its just Rihanna and Shakira on the same screen, for 3 and a half minutes. Anyway, not much else to say, just watch it!
NEW VIDEO: Justin Bieber – Confident [Ft. Chance The Rapper ]
Hot off the heels of his DUI arrest, and now the petition to deport him back to Canada, he still manages to release his new video ‘Confident’, featuring Chance The Rapper. I have mixed feelings about the way The Biebs is going in his career, he released a couple of decent tracks a while back with his new R&B vibe, but his attitude and all other things have made him come off as an arrogant kid.
UPDATE: I love this song, and eat all my words
NEW VIDEO: Disclosure – F For You [Ft. Mary J Blige]
There are seriously no words to describe how amazing this collaboration is, Disclosure and Queen Mary shut down all aspects of music on this track! Been following Disclosure for about 3 years now, and it is absolutely amazing to see them reach this level of fame, which is easily much deserved. These 2 superstars performed together in New York, in what I can only imagine was a show that wasn’t to be missed. Anyway, enough praise for the duo, if you don’t know by now…..
Side Note: I’m absolutely jealous to anyone who is going to the sold out Disclosure set in Dallas!
