Just came across this guy recently after watching that video above from SBTV, and I absolutely LOVED his voice. He is from London, and he has a very R&B/Hip-Hop vibe to him, with very soulful vocals. The video above shows him mixing Lauryn Hill’s ‘To Zion’ with his own track ‘Fire’ from his recently released mixtape, which might I add is FREE. Anyway watch the video and download the Mixtape from his OFFICIAL SITE

NEW VIDEO: The Park- These Are The Days
San Francisco natives, The Park, have dropped a new video for their single ‘These Are The Days’ off their same name titled EP which is out now! The video is visually AWESOME, the song is musically AWESOME, and THAT GUITAR SOLO, no words. Take a listen, then go buy their EP because its SO worth it and its only $2.99!
NEW MUSIC: Brandy & Monica- It All Belongs To Me
The duo is back! I have been a little skeptical on them having another duo again, since ‘The Boy Is Mine‘ is seriously iconic. They have been hinting at this duo for quite some time now, and it has finally come together enlisting Rico Love to produce the recreation, take a listen below:
You definitely can’t knock the vocal abilities of both of them, but as far as iconic duets going, this definitely doesn’t compare to ‘The Boy Is Mine’. After a couple of listens, this doesn’t even leave an impact on me. It’s really just a standard R&B duet, and Brandy & Monica are definitely NOT just your average! I’m highly disappointed, even more so because the hype was so big. The track is definitely just the safe way out and these 2 could have DEFINITELY done way better than that.
ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: JMSN
JMSN, formally known as Christian TV, has released just released his debut album last month titled Priscilla, and it is definitely a contender for one of my favorite albums of 2012. He started his journey as Christian TV releasing tracks taking the more dance/pop route with ‘I’m In Love‘, ‘Love 2 Baby‘ and ‘When She Turns 18‘.
NEW VIDEO: Maverick Sabre’s Bob Marley Tribute
One of my favorite UK sites SBTV has done an acoustic session with one of my favorite soul singers of the past 2 years, Maverick Sabre. SBTV is known for doing sessions with artists that are trying to breakout into the business and they have found some pretty amazing talent; Maverick Sabre, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran.
Anyway, seeing as it is the legend that is Bob Marley’s birthday today, what better way than to tribute than to sing one of his most famous songs ‘Redemption Song’. I might be a bit biased because I love everything Maverick Sabre does, but this cover is AMAZING.
Maverick Sabre’s album is out now in the UK, and he has reached #1 right where he belongs. If only the USA could recognize such talent.
RIP Bob Marley
NEW MUSIC: D’Angelo- Left & Right (James Blake Remix)

One of the most unique artists of 2011, James Blake, is now on his remix game and he adds D’Angelo’s “Left & Right’ to his list. I’m going to give this a couple of more replays before I make a final decision, but the original was SO GOOD, that its hard to hear a remix, especially one as unique as James Blake. Although I did LOVE James Blake’s album, I think he needs to stick to making his own tracks. My opinion could change in a couple of hours though.

Madonna’s Superbowl Performance
The ever so famous Superbowl halftime show was just a few hours ago with the one and only Madonna. I have heard mixed reviews on the whole thing, but I think she was alright up and till she started acting 21. That whole LMFAO addition was just a mess, then her dancing got a little too dirty for her age, she then proceeded to bring out Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. to perform the fail of a song ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’. She did kind of redeem herself with the accompany of Cee-Lo Green, but then lost all credibility when she put the ‘World Peace’ message after all that grinding. SERIOUSLY?
NEW MUSIC: Stacy Barthe- No Strings Attached
One of the great female talents out right now, Miss Stacy Barthe has just released another song off her Debut album ‘In The Inbetween‘ due out on Feb. 8th. She dropped a FREE EP late last year, which is still on heavy rotation to this day. For those that don’t know her, she has built her name on songwriting from superstars such as Britney Spears, Rihanna, and Katy Perry. Now she is breaking out on her own and I’m loving every moment of it!
‘No Strings Attached’ has a sort of Jasmine Sullivan feel to it, mixing Reggae and R&B vibes but still adding her own feel to it. She released another tune titled ‘Keep It Like It Is’ a couple of weeks back which had the same feeling to it, so it’s looking like this is kind of sound she is going for with her album. Whatever she does, I’m sure it will be amazing. Check out the track!
Thanks to Pinboard for the track!
NEW VIDEO: Miguel- Adorn
Aside from the fact that this whole video is basically just close up shots of Miguel’s mouth and not even 3 minutes long, the song is great, and I hope he brings out more stuff like this. The song channels older R&B vibes and adds a modern twist to it, and it all just fits perfectly. This is the Miguel that I need!
NEW MUSIC: Sam Sparro- The Shallow End
AHHH YES! One of my favorites from 2008 is BACK! His debut album was genius and now after a bit of a break, his new album ‘Lost In Paradise’ is set out this year with this being the first single. The video is compiled of backstage and Behind the scenes short clips, so there is nothing special about it, but the man can definitely deliver on a video, so I’m not disappointed.
He has always been one to mix a bit of funk and pop together and it just works perfectly. He sounds a bit like Prince at times which is NEVER a bad thing. He has been announced to perform at the Music Festival SXSW in Austin and I will definitely be in attendance. If you haven’t checked out his previous smash UK hit ‘Black & Gold‘, do so NOW.
