NEW MUSIC/VIDEO: Lorde – Green Light

Lorde has finally made her long awaited comeback dropping a new track and visuals for her return! “Green Light” is definitely something very unexpected that we are used to hearing from the quirky songstress.

Lorde gives us an almost brighter sound with production that could easily be fit for Taylor Swift or Coldplay, and while that isn’t the worst comparison, it is for Lorde. Her 2013 album, Pure Heroin, broke boundaries and changed the music game giving life to artists like Flume and Kiiara. “Green Light” just kind of falls flat for me, and there is nothing there to stand out.

In addition, she has given us the title of her upcoming album, Melodrama, which she says is inspired by David Bowie. I’m still slightly interested in hearing it, so hopefully her next single will change the game again.

NEW VIDEO: Bruno Mars – That’s What I Like

Bruno Mars just killed the visuals for this track. 24k Magic is still on repeat, even at 9 tracks long, the album is legendary. He did something completely different from this video. No big productions like his previous track “24k Magic“, no fancy sets, just him and some seriously cool drawings to match the lyrics.

Bruno Mars is a legend.

NEW VIDEO: Dua Lipa – Thinking ‘Bout You

Dua Lipa has been slowly on the rise for the past year now. She was one of our Artists To Watch of 2016, and with 2017 coming to a start she gives us the visuals from what may be one of my favorite tracks from her. “Thinking ‘Bout You’ is so simple yet gives us so much.

Dua’s vocals are absolutely unreal on this track which is what instantly draws me. The video is simple, giving us Dua in her minimal form, but that allows the track to speak for itself. Just watch it, you won’t be disappointed.

NEW VIDEO: Ed Sheeran – Eraser (SBTV)

For those that don’t know, I discovered the legend that is Ed Sheeran from SB.TV 7 years ago from their A64 sessions. With the 10 year reunion of their amazing website being today, they bring it back to artists that started it all. We have Ed Sheeran giving us a little F64 of a track from his newest album Divide, “Eraser”.

After the jump, I included the video that started it all for me. I highly recommend you check it out!

NEW VIDEO: Stanaj – Bad Woman

Our favorite, Stanaj, is back with visuals for a track off his is smash EP From A Distance. “Bad Woman” is another huge track for this talent, along with many others on the EP. The video see’s Stanaj showing his swag with a mystery girl in various shots. It’s a simple yet effective music video, and I have to say the track speaks for itself anyway.

If you haven’t checked out the EP From a Distance, I highly suggest you do that right now.

NEW VIDEO: Starley – Call On Me [Ryan Riback Remix]

I’m a little slow on this one, but it has been on repeat all day so I just had to share it. Starley seems to be a bit of an up and comer in the industry, but this track will definitely give her some major success. The track currently sits pretty at number 6 on the UK top 40, there is no word if it will make it over here just yet, but I can only hope!

The original, is just as beautiful in its own way too, but I just prefer this Ryan Riback remix. I will be doing some extensive research on both of these talents, but for now stay tuned and press repeat!

NEW VIDEO: M.O – Not In Love [Ft. Kent Jones]

I have always been a huge fan of M.O, they just keep producing smash after smash and “Not In Love” is no exception. They just released the videos to accompany the catchy track and it is everything you want from a girl group. With all the drama of other groups, M.O has remained consist with their music and I will keep supporting them and their careers.

The video is pretty basic compared to other’s they have released (“Dance On My Own“), but the track speaks for itself. I love everything about this.

NEW VIDEO: JoJo – FAB [Ft. Remy Ma]

This is still one of my favorite cuts from JoJo’s iconic comeback album, Mad Love. The music video is simple yet gets your fired up all over again. “FAB” is an anthem that everyone needs in their life, and if you haven’t checked out the album yet, I highly suggest you do that.

In addition to dropping this music video, she has announced a tour that will start next year! I have been fortunate enough to see her once already, and I will definitely be purchasing tickets again.

Check out the full set of dates after the jump!

NEW VIDEO: Aanysa x Snakehips – Burn Break Crash

For me, Snakehips has produced smash after smash. Whether it be the Zayn assisted, “Cruel” to the Chance The Rapper and Tinashe smash, “All My Friends“. This time they introduce us to some fresh new talent, Aanysa, who after watching the video will be someone I do some research on.

“Burn Break Crash” definitely has some summer 90’s vibes to it, but its definitely a track that I will have on repeat for quite some time. I can’t wait to hear what Snakehips churns out next, because I have yet to be disappointed!

NEW VIDEO: Sia – The Greatest [Ft. Kendrick Lamar]

Sia, receiving a slow burning chart topper with “Cheap Thrills”, has just graced us with another smash. “The greatest” is another self-empowerment track that we are used to hearing from the songstress. While the streaming version features the amazing Kendrick Lamar, the music video does not include him.

The video is a very powerful tribute to the victims in he Orlando shooting as you see them dropping at the end with what looks like bullet holes in the background, with a very eerie silence.

I much prefer the Kendrick version ,which I have included after the jump, but for radio purposes I see why she has released two separate versions. Sia definitely has another hit on her hands with “The Greatest”.
