Ladies and Gentlemen, Sam Smith has returned. “Too Good At Goodbyes” is right down his alley, with his signature church choir providing the background accents. To be honest, we were kind of hoping for a different approach rather than the usual heartbreak anthem, but hopefully he has something else up his sleeve.
I’m sure there will be a collaboration with Disclosure on this album, or one in the near future. For now, I think this is a solid comeback track. I don’t think it will do as well as “Stay With Me”, but still a solid track.
After Adele giving us the heartbreak album, we don’t need another from Sam Smith. Still, I’m excited to hear what he brings to the table, his vocals have definitely been missed!
I always try and keep up with our previous Artist Spotlights whenever they bring us new things. When they are as busy grinding as Leroy Sanchez is, it is hard to keep up but then you watch some of their material and just stop and have to share.
My favorite covers from him have been his Adele covers, and this one is no exception. There is so much emotion, and not to mention the vocal ability on this man just gets better and better each time.
If you didn’t know Leroy Sanchez is going on tour with the talented, Boyce Avenue, which you can find tickets for here!
This time around for my Artist Spotlight feature, I have given the spotlight to the talented vocalist known as, Leroy Sanchez. I stumbled upon his Youtube covers a little bit ago, and I can’t get enough of his vocal ability.
I’m not sure where he is in his career, all I know is that he has a couple of music videos up on youtube, one of which being “By My Side”. All his videos were released over a year ago, so I’m not sure if he is still crafting his sound because it seems by his Youtube covers that he is definitely maturing as an artist.
Check out the rest of my feature after the jump!
The legend that is Adele is releasing one more track before she goes on her indefinite break from music to do life things. She leaves us with the hauntingly perfect ‘Skyfall’ which will be the lead single off the new James Bond movie, and also slay every single single that is going to be released in the next couple of months. ‘Skyfall’ isn’t usual Adele material, but it makes sense because it is for the James Bond movie, but I have to admit I’m already starting to miss her, and I hope her break isn’t too long.
I usually don’t post much news on here, but since Adele seems to own the world right now, I figured it was relevant. Grammy slayer, Adele claimed to be taking a year off of music because she wanted to be able to write about happy things, and no more breakups. Just a little while ago, Adele announced on her Official website that she and present boyfriend Simon Konecki, are expecting their first child!
I am extremely happy for her, and wish the best for them. You can check out the blog post from her official website below, but seeing as she has shut down the internet with this news I’ll just post the quote from it and you can check it later when everything calms down.
“I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together,I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx”

Right before her anticipating comeback from vocal rest, Adele first spoke to Anderson cooper on everything from her overnight success, to her famous relationship that gained her 6 Grammys last night. You can’t help but love everything about her, and she desereves every bit of success she gets.
It was just announced that her next single is ‘Rumor Has It’, one of the more uptempo tracks on the masterpiece. There is no doubt in my mind that, like the rest of her singles, it will reach number 1 for at least 3 weeks.
Who can stop the LEGEND?!?
Tonights performances were very interesting, there were some by ‘artists’ that needed their nominations taken away (Nicki Minaj) and some that basically showed why they were owning the world (Adele), and even a heartfelt performance of the late legend Whitney Houston.
In addition, tonight Adele tied the record for winning the most Grammy awards in one night by a female with a total of 6 grammy’s tonight, sharing that record with Beyonce. While Adele is only 23 years old and just on her 2nd album in her career, I would say she is well on her way to plenty more records to be broken.
Anyway check out performances from the likes of Chris Brown, Rihanna, Coldplay, Adele, Nicki Minaj and many more after the Jump!
(I will post the others as soon as they are put up)
