NEW VIDEO: Sia – The Greatest [Ft. Kendrick Lamar]

Sia, receiving a slow burning chart topper with “Cheap Thrills”, has just graced us with another smash. “The greatest” is another self-empowerment track that we are used to hearing from the songstress. While the streaming version features the amazing Kendrick Lamar, the music video does not include him.

The video is a very powerful tribute to the victims in he Orlando shooting as you see them dropping at the end with what looks like bullet holes in the background, with a very eerie silence.

I much prefer the Kendrick version ,which I have included after the jump, but for radio purposes I see why she has released two separate versions. Sia definitely has another hit on her hands with “The Greatest”.

NEW VIDEO: Ariana Grande – Side To Side [Ft. Nicki Minaj]

After Ariana delivered a mediocre performance at the VMA’s, she dropped the video for one of my favorite singles off a fantastic album, ‘Side To Side’. The video is what you would expect from Ariana and Nicki, it oozes sex and is filled with a lot of meaningless visuals. It is time these pop-stars give their videos some depth, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. Enjoy!

NEW VIDEO: BANKS – Fuck With Myself

BANKS  has always been an interest to me with her quirky and soft spoken style. This time around she gives us “Fuck With Myself”, which falls into the category or recently released zero fucks anthems. I’m loving this track, and she even recently released another track “Gemini Feed” which you can peep the video for after the jump!

NEW VIDEO: Snakehips – Cruel [Ft. Zayn]

This track has been a slow and steady banger for me. I really wasn’t a fan for quite some time, seeing as Zayn‘s album was pretty much a flop. The talented producer, Snakehips, has given some life back into his career for me at least. My only problem was that his album was just one blend of a track, there was no story, there was no differences. This gives him some change up in his sound, and I quite actually prefer this.

In other news, MIA has announced a collaboration with him, which I believe could be quite iconic when the time comes seeing as it is her last album. Anyway, enjoy the video for the Snakehips and Zayn collaboration!

NEW VIDEO: JoJo – Fuck Apologies [Ft. Wiz Khalifa]

Less than 24 hours after the surprise release of her debut single from her album, Mad Love, JoJo gives us the official visuals. The track is going to be huge, it is almost a grown up version of “Leave (Get Out)”, from the start of her career.

I can’t wait to hear Mad Love, because this girl knows exactly what she is doing musically in every way.

I am so here for this.

NEW VIDEO: Fergie – M.I.L.F $

Fergie is officially back.

After her fail of a track, “L.A. Love”, she brings back her trademark swag on the fantastic womens empowerment track, Mom’s I’d Like To Follow or “MILF $”. There is really no telling whether this will be a hit or not but I believe that it has everything behind it to become a smash. The pop world is missing that Fergie flow and we have been waiting entirely too long for a solo album from the dutchess.

NEW VIDEO: Years & Years – Worship

The best thing I can do with this video is leave it here for you to watch.

I have to take a moment to really give Years & Years some credit. Pop music is missing depth and lyrics lately, but front runner Olly Alexander, has been able to give that back to the music. There is a lot to be said about this video and what it stands for, and it is difficult to put into words, but there is a fantastic interview with the creators and Olly about the whole thing.

Olly had a very meaningful quote in the article that stood out, and I will leave that below. Just watch the video and appreciate the art that is coming back through music.

“We’re all more alike than we are different, but we are multidimensional and sometimes I feel there’s not enough room in the mainstream to express that.” -Olly Alexander

NEW VIDEO: Leroy Sanchez – I Miss You (Adele Cover)

I always try and keep up with our previous Artist Spotlights whenever they bring us new things. When they are as busy grinding as Leroy Sanchez is, it is hard to keep up but then you watch some of their material and just stop and have to share.

My favorite covers from him have been his Adele covers, and this one is no exception. There is so much emotion, and not to mention the vocal ability on this man just gets better and better each time.

If you didn’t know Leroy Sanchez is going on tour with the talented, Boyce Avenue, which you can find tickets for here!

NEW VIDEO: MNEK – At Night (I Think About You)

If you don’t know MNEK by now, you are seriously missing out. He recently gave us his newest banger, “At Night”, and now he gives us the visuals that accompany the song. I really have nothing else to say about this track because I have loved everything that MNEK has put out, and this is no exception. So just enjoy it, and educate yourself on this talent if you haven’t already!

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Mullally

mullally3-600x400

It s about that time for another Artist Spotlight, this one has just sprung up on me a couple of weeks and he goes by the name of Connor Mullally, or Mullally. He hails from the UK and is self described as as an “edgy, zesty, neo-soul” singer, which I think is just the perfect fit for him. He is the perfect blend of Adam Levine and Maverick Sabre, which are both phenomenal vocalists.

Mullally has a certain twang in his voice that gives him such a soulful edge which can easily set him apart from the rest. He doesn’t have much under his belt just yet, a few YouTube covers, and some originals which only were released recently.

I got hooked instantly on Mullally when I heard him sing his original “Lie With me”. The version below has been on repeat since I first came across it. There is some serious vocal talent here, and not to mention the song itself is well written. This guy is a force.

If you liked what you heard above, I have way more on this talent after the jump!
