NEW VIDEO: Starley – Call On Me [Ryan Riback Remix]

I’m a little slow on this one, but it has been on repeat all day so I just had to share it. Starley seems to be a bit of an up and comer in the industry, but this track will definitely give her some major success. The track currently sits pretty at number 6 on the UK top 40, there is no word if it will make it over here just yet, but I can only hope!

The original, is just as beautiful in its own way too, but I just prefer this Ryan Riback remix. I will be doing some extensive research on both of these talents, but for now stay tuned and press repeat!

NEW VIDEO: M.O – Not In Love [Ft. Kent Jones]

I have always been a huge fan of M.O, they just keep producing smash after smash and “Not In Love” is no exception. They just released the videos to accompany the catchy track and it is everything you want from a girl group. With all the drama of other groups, M.O has remained consist with their music and I will keep supporting them and their careers.

The video is pretty basic compared to other’s they have released (“Dance On My Own“), but the track speaks for itself. I love everything about this.

NEW VIDEO: Jessie J – Can’t Take My Eyes Off You (Cover)

I have always thought Jessie J was a superstar. Her first album was pure pop perfection, and in the years to follow she kind of lost that raw soul, and transitioned to more pop. She has had some smash hits since then, and then kind of disappeared from the game, until now.

“Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”, while still a cover, is absolutely amazing. It is for a makeup campaign so there is no word on new music from her just yet. The arrangement and just hearing her vocals again is what excites me.

Jessie J is a full on artist with amazing song-writing abilities and a voice to match. She is the full package, and I hope this track will transition to new music because she is definitely missed.

After the jump, take a listen to one of the greatest songs of our generation written by the amazing Jessie J.

NEW VIDEO: JoJo – FAB [Ft. Remy Ma]

This is still one of my favorite cuts from JoJo’s iconic comeback album, Mad Love. The music video is simple yet gets your fired up all over again. “FAB” is an anthem that everyone needs in their life, and if you haven’t checked out the album yet, I highly suggest you do that.

In addition to dropping this music video, she has announced a tour that will start next year! I have been fortunate enough to see her once already, and I will definitely be purchasing tickets again.

Check out the full set of dates after the jump!

NEW VIDEO: Aanysa x Snakehips – Burn Break Crash

For me, Snakehips has produced smash after smash. Whether it be the Zayn assisted, “Cruel” to the Chance The Rapper and Tinashe smash, “All My Friends“. This time they introduce us to some fresh new talent, Aanysa, who after watching the video will be someone I do some research on.

“Burn Break Crash” definitely has some summer 90’s vibes to it, but its definitely a track that I will have on repeat for quite some time. I can’t wait to hear what Snakehips churns out next, because I have yet to be disappointed!

NEW VIDEO: Stanaj – Ain’t Love Strange

Stanaj was our Artist Spotlight a few months back, and now he gives us his debut music video off his fantastic EP, The Preview. “Ain’t Love Strange” is my favorite track off the EP, and the video is perfection. The visuals are basically an artsy representation of the lyrics which I think fits perfectly.

Stanaj is scheduled to perform this track on Jimmy Fallon tonight, and we have so much love for this talent. He will get his, much deserved, big break very soon.

NEW MUSIC/VIDEO: Bruno Mars – 24k Magic

cuik_f4ueaaql7r

2016 is showing up to be the year of comebacks from pop’s greatest. We have Lady Gaga, JoJo, and now Bruno Mars joins the club. Bruno has taken about 4 years off with the only single being the Mark Ronson smash, “Uptown Funk” and his iconic superbowl performance alongside Beyonce and Coldplay. Other than that we haven’t heard any solo material since Unorthodox Jukebox, back in 2012.

Bruno Mars is now back and not only dropped his new single “24K Magic” but the visuals and the album cover (featured above) to go along with it. This track had to be huge following his legendary success of “Uptown Funk”, and I believe he did that fantastically.

“24K Magic” brings the funk right back in the game with an almost Pharrell sounding production, it’s “Uptown Funk”…but sexier. The video gives me Beyonce “7/11” vibes, but better, and the song makes more sense. Bruno did the damn thing!

We need a male pop-star back in the game currently run by females and Bruno brings that.

Watch the video below!
Repeat.

NEW VIDEO: JoJo – Music

14222345_10154792403888455_1997244131160240668_n

Let me start off by saying, Oct. 14th can’t come soon enough.

JoJo is on a mission to give us her best form of art yet, and this track “Music” is something I’m sure a lot of people can relate too. This track is so simple, yet one of the most emotional tracks on the album. She has released banger after banger with “Fuck Apologies” and “FAB“, and now she gives us a very different yet raw side to her.

“Music” is a standout track on an already standout album. She pours out raw emotion, talks about her lost father, and using music as her escape. Like I said, something everyone can relate to. Simply perfect.

Mad Love is due out Oct. 14th. Go get it.

NEW VIDEO: MiC LOWRY – Oh Lord

MiC LOWRY has really been on the grind as of late, as they are currently touring the UK on Justin Bieber’s “Purpose” tour. Their Popularity has skyrocketed, as it should, for them, and a few days ago they released the video for their smash single, “Oh Lord”.

I love everything about these guys, and “Oh Lord” is such a banger, from the production to the Phil Collins sample. We did a more in-depth feature on them if you want to check that out, but other than that, just press play above!
